looks ace! my old man used to have a SUB which i liked very much. S&T should sell you 2 tuners, they sold me a single one. shame about the shoddy packaging, not cool really.

i am also going through a change with my setup and pondered the thought of going down the 2 single 15 cabs also as i love the growly tone they pump out. I was close to getting 2 of the TE 1518C's as a straight swap for my v type combo and 1153 but unuckily it didnt pull off. shame... I have also thought of getting a BF as they seem to be a very good small cab but i always worry about any small cab solution being too low down on stage and me not hearing much, probably why people are getting the midget and the compact to help this. My question really (trying not to de rail this thread) is... Say i bought a S12 from BF, would stacking it on say a flight case to raise the cab be bad for the sound? as lots of bass cabs dont like being off the floor. Or have i just answered my own question? Hopefully the answer might help Mr TraceElliotBass in his decision.

im pretty sure that was the price as i was gobsmacked as well. I was talking to Andrew up at Matamp on the phone about them. They said that they should be up and running around March time for production. hopefully shall have some more info next week if i get the chance to go up.

the amount of problems that have come from this company is just crazy. I cant understand how he is still allowed to trade with the amount of people putting complaints in against him. Maybe someone should forward him this thread and see what he has to say for himself....probably not much. shocking.

they are saying that the 500w hybrid is going to be just shy of £400. That will really put them in the market for everyone who wants these mini powerful heads. They are pairing them up to run with their 2x12. Cant wait, should hopefully be going up next week some time.

also had a bash of one of these today with Mr vtypev4. cracking amp, shame it was through crashdown cabs as they sound rather cheap and cheerful and not much life to them. I think my version of dirty must be a lot different as I found it only got dirty when the drive was at around 2 o clock. plenty of useable clean but if you are after sterile clean then I wouldn't buy this. I'm positive a 500w version is enough for most of us.

I was going to buy an Orange terror but I like to have a good relationship with whoever makes the equipment I use and I tried talking to Orange and they weren't interested in the slightest. the guys at Matamp seem great, when asking about their stuff they said the best thing to do is come and have a go and go from there. my kind of company!!

i have just arranged a visit to the Matamp factory next week Im sold on one of these Class D jobs they are doing. Shall also be getting a 2x12 i think. Whoop for me! lol
