1. like everyone has said, keep it simple, most people give up reading or not even bother if they see an essay. Not really worth doing unless the band has a history behind it that people might find interesting. worst things i cant stand is when a band name drops who they have supported live. nasty!
2. bump for adding that i can get next day secured palletized delivery to you for £35 at your cost if needed. Make me an offer!!!!
3. god damn if my Ampeg cab would shift i would probably have this off ya. but its going nowhere so looks like i will miss out!
4. from my experience in playing heavy metal, 4x10 is the mimimum i would use, was mostly 8x10's. Anything less just didnt cut it! you NEED my Ampeg 410HLF i have for sale on here at the moment.
5. hey bud, i have just had a nose at the cab you are talking about and i'm afraid its totally the wrong dimensions for what i need. Sorry bud. Sure you cant squeeze an extra £100 from somewhere to pay cash?
6. Hey bud, sorry for late reply, I been stuck in a campsite this weekend with no Internet. What series ashdown is it bud? If it's gonna be strong enough to cope with my needs without me blowing it to high heaven then we may have a deal.
7. ok, i shall swap you a shoe box with some rubber bands for acoustic stuff. Sounds a fair trade lol.
8. I'll have the unwanted MM5 Sandberg for a tenner if you want rid quick. They aint worth anything and totally crap Or you could get yourself a line selector pedal with a boost for each channel and up the gain of it to match the Ray.
9. Haha just my luck! Glad you are enjoying it mate, they are killers ain't they. Shame no one wants this one!
10. cheers Wayne, no worries if you have promised someone else. but i will buy you a beer to twist your arm! haha. (joking)
11. I shall also consider a trade of cabs worth £100 like a Trace 1153 or 4808 cab or a mini Ashdown 4x8 + cash my way of £250. I know im a bit tight with that but i need to buy a V type 4808 combo which is costing me £300 and i dont have any cash to spare. Or any other compact little 15" cabs worth around £100 i would look at as well. nearly 600 views and little interest in such a stonking cab makes me sad
12. Can always arrange shipping if you are willing to pay for it.
13. very nice, love the inlays! It does look like that case is made for a Jazz of some kind. Like Ezbass said, just get some foam and its all good.
14. BUMP FOR PRICE DROP TO £350
15. up to the top we go. Shall be adding photos tonight. This is a bargain guys. The sound this thing pumps out is incredible. Probably one of the most perfect 1 cab setups going. Specially for Rock music. I wouldnt be shifting it but i want a 2 cab setup.
16. Bump! Someone please buy this! it rocks!
17.
Meanwhile in Glasgow.....
Thats more like it!!!!! kids should be into ACDC not nasty slimy smooth jazz rubbish! First kid will never get laid Second kid will be a rockstar and have platefulls of it IMO
18. Bump! Price reduction to £30. Just want them gone!!
19. Well i have seemed to have solved my problem. I have put my Ampeg HLF up for sale as i have acquired a Trace Elliot V Type 4808 Combo and am going to be getting hold of the 1153 compact 15" cab to go with it. With this set up i can run the V4 with both or either of the speaker cabs, or use the V Type combo on its own or with the 15" cab depending on what i need and when. This is perfect for me as i now have a rig with 5 different ways of using it and is nice n small enough to fit in my boot! It aint lightweight as the combo comes in at a nice 42Kg and for something the size of a shoebox is just crazy! But it sounds INCREDIBLE!!! Cant wait to get it all together. Its gonna be fun.

Sadowsky

i played a Sadowsky (think it was a metro p/j) a few months ago in Guitar Guitar in Birmingham recently and i was totally gutted! The time before that i had the privilege of trying one was in a shop in Pigale in Paris and that was years and years ago and was probably the nicest bass i have ever played and is a total benchmark that i think of when it comes to a quality high value bass. The one i tried in Brum was not a nice experience, it was in dire need of a quality set up as the action was a mile high, it farted noise at you instead of that amazing tone you tend to hear , and i just couldnt get a decent sound out of it. i put it back quickly and played a Lakland P bass for a while which blew it away totally! I aint gonna say that Sandbergs are better than Sadowsky's, but mine is much better than the one i played a while ago which really was a shame as i wanted to be blown away by one again. Having a £700 Lakland play and sound better than a bass over £1000 more expensive is just crazy!
21. Thanks mate, yup this is seriously an industry standard bit of kit. Just wish I could chop it in two!
22. Big bump up to the top back up for sale! Please someone buy this quickly as i am SOOOO close to getting my perfect rig (at this moment in time obviously!!) Shall get pictures honestly, its just buried under all my gear under the stairs!
23. I hope this doesnt push the boundaries of "other musically related stuff" as they are technically HiFi speakers but hey ho, worth a punt! I need to shift these close to being vintage early 1990's KEF speakers. The guy i bought them off was the original owner and he told me they were around £250 / £300 new and the Atacama sandbag filled stands were around £80. I found some bumpf on an ebay auction which went for £30 with no stands. You would have to pick them up as the stands weigh a ton. If someone only wanted the speakers, i could post them out as they aint too heavy. Slight tear in the ABR false speaker dust cover but as this isnt a proper speaker, just a woofer of sorts its no problem and has been glued back down. They work perfectly and sound fantastic! I just dont need a big pair of speakers when i have a little pair of B&W's PS.. sorry about the large photos, shall get rid of em if needed and try make them smaller. Description: D’appolito design SP1192 tweet(The tweeter was use in Roger LS59) with 8” SP1193 woofers and 8” passive. Frequency response: 20hz-22khz +/- 2db. In room: about 15hz-22khz. Efficiency: 92 db 1w/1 meter Impedence: 8 ohms 100 Watt Tweeter: they are accurate and flat up to 22khz, matched within 0.5 db of each other. Model: SP1192 1" Impregnated fabric dome Woofers: The bass is fast, tight, and very deep. 8" paper Cara´s were manufactured starting in 1986 for Lasky's, a now defunct UK Audio chain-store. The model number for the Caras is SP3076, and they have a normal woofer, and bellow that an ABR ( passive radiator ).
