There's a wiring diagram on the Seymour Duncan site for their musicman replacement pup 3-way switch here which may help:

EBMM customer service are generally very good though, I've had quick responses to several questions over the years
Hey!
I found the Seymour Duncan one literally 15 mins before your post. Worked perfectly!! Good call on that one.
I cant complain about how quick EBMM were to help me but its taken nearly a month to get it right. They sent me the wrong 3 way switch to start with, also stating that they were sure that it was the right one.
Again they were really quick to help but the wiring diagrams they gave me were crap! really old photocopy quality picture that didnt match the switch they gave me. Thank god for Seymour Duncan!
Also when i was questioning them about the switch and that i still needed their help, they just palmed me off and said in future i should just get in touch with one of their authorised technicians.
But tis done now so i can finally sell the thing!!!! (and buy MrGreg's bass ) -
Hey hey! I am in desperate need of a wiring diagram for the 3 way switch for my 1989 stingray 5. If anyone has one hey could post on here or if anyone has a decent photo of one that will do as the one I got from ernie ball is rubbish!!
Desperate to get my bass fixed so I can sell it!!
Thanks

Dood, are you really doing a band with Thomas Lang??? He is just amazing!! well done mate, you got some great coverage on there,
-
I have been chatting to Gregor for a bit about his bass and he is a top bloke. If this had the extra string i would have bought it.
These basses are pure class and i cant wait to order mine, some one please buy this as its the dogs taters and it hurts to keep seeing it here for sale. -

Much love for this ray, I've been looking EVERYWHERE for something like it! EBMM Stingray is pretty perfect, and then you gave it an extra string *gasp*
But yes, absolutely brilliant. Are you still selling?!
Thanks,
Chris.
Yes mate still for sale at 700 quid. Plus it's just had a service and re wired so it's as fresh as a daisy. pm if you are interested -

Trade for my 1989 musicman stingray 5?
-
Also would consider 4 string musicman ray HS as well.

Hi there
After some thought i have decided that i want a bit of a change from my Ray5.
I am looking for a trade for a Sandberg JM or PM 4 or 5 string.
Here are a few crappy pictures. I took these just after coming off a tour so the bass needed a good cleaning. I can get some better ones if anyone is interested.
Its a stunning bass that i have had for over 6 years. The neck has that gorgeous birdeye maple.
I will be honest and say it has a few minor buckle scratches on the back and this is a bass that has been properly used by myself, not kept in a bedroom so it has seen some use, but there are no nasty dings or anything.
Now selling as well at 700 quid -
Yeah I think I shall do that. Those jm5's are just amazing.
-
Guess who is on sandberg commission? Lol. They do look amazing and I would have one at a drop of a hat but money is tight. love the look of the jm.
-
Another option I could Persue is adding the j pickup into my own bass rather than selling it. I'm not Arsed about losing value as if I can do what I want it to, i don't think I would ever sell it.
-
I like the sound of the hs! Never had a go of one of them. Will have a look into it. What's the going rate for a second hand one?
-
Don't get me wrong, I do love my ray, I just think I want to get more than just ray sound out of it at the moment. Might have some tweaks around with eq n stuff.
-
Yo yo! Recently I have really been tempted by a change of bass from my trusty ray. I have used this for the last 6 years but recently I have found myself wanting a more versatile bass and also wanting to drop down to a 4 string.
I love the fenders and have owned a jazz bass before and loved it's tone. The p deluxe seems to tick all the boxes for me with the range of sounds it can do. I love the model with the humbucker at the bridge.
I ain't been able to play one because they are impossible to find!! What I want to do is find someone who has one that wants a trade for mine as I have no cash.
Does anyone have any experience with these basses? Do you think it's a clever move?
Just some advice would be appreciated. -
Damn!!! I would love this but only have my 1989 musicman ray5 to give you for it. Fail!
-
i'd have one of these

Jazz/Precision/Stingray IN 1 BASS!!!! mint -
just to give you some help on selling.
i use one of these with my V4 and it sounds incredible. perfect for me. loads of punch, bottom and top end as well.
cant go wrong, great cabs! -
i used to have a VBA400, was amazing. pure and simple!!
loud as you like and did what you would expect any valve amp to do!
Only reason i chopped it in is because of the rather pricy cost of re valving the beast and i got offered a straight swap for my Trace V4 mmmmmmm.
Would have one again in a heartbeat if i needed that power again.
