1. I can't believe this is still here. I wish this was here some time ago...
2. owen: It surely is not bad for Indonesian production... Forgot to mention the string spacing is supposed to be 19mm at the bridge - pole pieces are accomodated to this.
3. SOLD Hello Basschat. I've got pair of Nordstrand pickups I'm thinking of sale. They are custom ordered NJ5 SE (split coil, enamel wire) in soapbar covers same dimension as their big singles, fat stacks, etc. They're almost mint, and they were really expensive new. Price reduced to £120 including postage within EU. I'm OK if there's no interest, they sound superb. Thanks.
4. Amazing fretless that would look even better with acrylic scratch plate!
5. Thanks for the comments. I'll give it some more thoughts befor making any move.
6. I know this will be probably hell of an OT, but GAS is striking. Well, although I really like the sound of the bass, I'm thinking of changing the pickups and/or pre in it (damn you, GAS devil). Not that it sounds bad! The bass sounds really sweet now, but I'm just (stupidly?) after dual coils and hotter output. Is there anyone who might tell me what are those installed components worth in case I want them sell to raise cash for new purchase? Pickups are top of the Nordstrand production: custom NJ5SE (which stands for split coils, enamel wire) in soapbar shell, accompanied with Nordstrand 3-band preamp (5 knob: vol, vol, bas, mid, treb + on/off switch). Thank you for all suggestions! PS: Or just tell me I'm an idiot and I should rather keep the bass as is.
7. Bargain! The pickup alone is worth nearly the asking price.
8.
Would it be anygood for reggae ?
Not only for reggae, it's almost unbeatable for any style. ALso it can be used to build highways, sunk ships and monitor outer space.
9. I absolutely love those ???&quots! They are well worth the money!!!
10.
David, you're killing me! Don't you know I can't afford this right now? I hate you!
I still hate you! But good luck with the sale. Gentleman, this is amazing amp well worth the money.
11. This is a steal! And about those pics: it's enough to read carefully to get them.
12. I'm selling pair of JB hum-cancelling pickups. These are almost exactly DiMarzios, just branded Schaller and made in Germany. They were used a lot, but sounds great and no hum is cool. Price: £60 SOLD ages ago...
13. Staring at such a bulletproof piece of gear is not wasting time!
14. If I had a bit more money there would be serious GAS problem in my head. Unfortunately I don't have them, so I can't do nothing but recommend these Nords to anyone wanting the best JB pickups!
15. I bought 10 CTS pots from Chris. He is a top class guy to deal with!
16. There is interest in just the fretless neck. Anyone insterested in loaded body? I can sell it for £180 + postage. Including all pictured minus the neck and tuners...
17.
Sorry, just noticed you mention the profile. Warmoth Jazzes have a slightly chunkier neck profile front to back than your average Fender Jazz. Never bothered me in the slightest and my hands are tiny.
Agreed. In fact, I like it more than ultra slim necks. My hands are also tiny... This is nice bass and good price too. I have same pickups in my 5 string and they are the best I've ever tried!
18. Nice! I'm building my warmoth right now, these are amazing parts!
19. I hope we'll meet somewhere soon. I need to see this bass with my very own eyes!
20. Wow. I never thought I would see Jolana at Basschat :-) This one is pretty nice and seems in good condition. Jantar should be one of their nicer models.
