    I'm posting this on behalf of my friend who's not member of this forum. He's selling Rickenbacker 4003 in black. She's year 2001, in very good condition and comes with original plastic Rickenbacker case. Price is [s]£1200[/s] [b]£1100[/b] which inlcludes postage in Europe. It's also possible to trade for Spector Euro or Stingray + cash (both preferably 5'ers, but 4 strings may go too).

    I just got Protec Contego and I can highly recommend this gig bag! Very good protection and it feels rock solid in every way.

    I'm thinking of pickups and electronics swap in my second bass. The bass is currently equipped with Seymour Duncan SJ5-3n (quarterpounder) and SMB-5D (musicman) coupled with Duncan Designed BEQ-3 preamp. It's 3-band and has slap switch. Bridge pickup is wired with switch for single coil / humbucker mode. It sounds good, but I'm probably going to gut the bass anyway (at least convert to passive to get more jazz vibe). Price is 100 pounds for the lot OBO.

    I'm late as always, but I had 2 precision necks - fretted and fretless - and both were very nice. Finish is nice and smooth, frets well dressed and I also liked the ebonol fretboard.
