    My mind moved and I ordered custom pickups two weeks ago. They are single coils and they should have a bit more aggresive feel in them then current split Nordstrands. Here they are: No more info yet, need to install them to find out if they play as good as they look :-)

    Just paid for new bass (jazz), so this is no longer for trade. Also price dropped to £250 including courier to UK. Is there really no love for lake placid blue cheapo, but well playing bass?

    I don't see any problem with price considering those EMGs are cheaper HZ passive ones, top is just a thin veneer and who knows what active circuit is inside. Cheap hardware is another reason for low price. This is just a good looker for the money, nothing special...

    Hi guys, I got trade offer on Marina jazz bass. I've never heard of the brand. Seller says it's Korean made in early 90's. Honestly, the bass looks quite cheap and resembles Squiers or so, apart from the bridge which looks like Gotoh 203.

    Here's my Cort GB74. It's one of the first run, made in Korea, in lake placid blue metallic color with matching headstock and pearloid pickguard. The bass have been "gutted" to passive with vol, vol, tone controls. There are two switches - one is for coil splitting the bridge pickup (series, single, parallel) and the other good old dummy switch :-) Cheap mighty mite pickups were also replaced with local brand (RM Pickups), and the tone is much, much better ever since. I still have original active circuit (which it's not very good) which will of course be included in trade. Tha bass is currently strung with new set of .40 Kyser strings, action is very low and the bass is really joy to play. Stays in tune well (licensed hipshots) and could do from punchy jazz tone to "woody P bass" style. I just paid for new bass so this is no longer for trade.     This is the worst deal I've seen for quite some time... Buyer apparently can't read carefully. Ugly, worn piece of plywood sh!t for the price of nice bass? The world's doomed!
