1. I've got the moulded case for my USA Jazz deluxe, I'm no fan of them... It's a battle to get it shut, the rectangular cases are way better IMHO
 2. It just seems cruel to show it in such a cool case, then say it's coming in a tatty one
 3.
The bass comes with a moulded Fender hard case (different from the one in the pictures). The case is not in great condition (thanks to Italian baggage handlers!) but does the job. I bought it for £475 and would like to sell it for the same.
If you bought it for £475 with what looks like a really nice Fender case, wouldn't it be fair to sell it for the same money, with the same case? I mean it's one more owner, one worse case and maybe a little worse condition than when you bought it...
 4.
They'll be made in China I expect. If it doesn't advertise that it's UK made then it won't be - I think only the Klystrons are made in the UK,
+1 to that...
 5.
I tried the same with an ex-girlfriend once. What a fuss that caused!!
6. That photo's hopeless I'm sure it's a nice bass tho'
 7.
A very beautiful and interesting Warwick. His final paragraph is interesting:
I thought that was the best bit too
 8.
Hi Guys, not a single PM on this to date which I sort of expected due to its value but then again you never know.
Fair enough... I'd really love it (it's gotta be one of the ultimate Jazzes...). However, I can't imagine ever being rich enough to spend £5k on a bass! Not with three kids, one job, two cars, two cats, a mortgage, etc. etc. Good luck at V&R
 9.

Sounds good, I'll try and get along...
 10. Someone got a real bargain with this 'Ray - hope they appreciate it!
 11.
I got one a few months back - the drummer says he can hear me better and the sound level is definitely more equal, even with my ropey playing style - all the peaks of pickup / fret slap seem reduced (except the ones I want) and there are less of those harsh moments.
Hmmm... I don't think I want to sell it now
 12. Installed on a Fender MIM Jazz, then taken off without the bass having been played more than a few times. So it's basically new Chrome finish, with screws. I'm asking £40 posted, PM me if you're interested... Now sold to Colda
 13. I've got one of these, you're welcome to it... £40 posted
 14.
gone!
Phew! at last
 15.
Lots of us from Nottm now. I'd certainly be up for a local bash...
Anything I can do to help organise...
 16.
bump!
Dude, they're only £598 new! (Am I allowed to say this?).
 17.
...and the fact that I saw the Neville Brothers performing live in Philadelphia around 1995.
My mum saw them playing at some festival in Nashville 15 or so years ago... Aaron Neville was so good that she's never really got over the experience
 18.
Totally serious. Its taking up space and i need the money!! I'm trying to get a quick sale. I can deliver locally or could arranage like a half distance each sort of meet thing!
Then that is a total bargain!!!
 19.
I bought a Pod Xt Live off David Nimrod on here, used it for the first time at a jam yesterday and it is a really good pedal indeed.
I'm really glad you like it! It was just too complex for me Like I said a while ago, I'm too thick for Line6!
 20. Bump... not many watchers on eBay, I'd much rather sell it here if anyone's interested?
 21.
It's a mid scoop, I don't like them myself, the flat sound works absolutely fine, it cuts out the mids, which you want, really!
+1 This whole 'mid scoop' thing just baffles me... I love the mids; lo mids, hi mids, all of 'em Scoop the mids and you loose the body of the sound.
 22. From the Manual:- PUSH FLAT / SHAPE - With this button in its OUT position a fixed E.Q. is superimposed on the preamp to give a bright but punchy character to the sound. Pushing this button IN returns the preamp to a Flat frequency response. This function may also be controlled from a footswitch. For the footswitch to operate, this button must be in its OUT position.
 23.
I take it that the 'push flat' button is just an EQ bypass then?
No, there is an EQ bypass, the 'push flat' button is like a preset tone curve.
 24. Sorry to be boring but I run the EQ on my ABM500 completely flat, and that includes the 'shape' button too. The EQ's on the amp. are great, but the tone controls on the bass, pickup choice, plus playing style are usually enough.
