1. Nice, I've gotten into buying cheap basses and doing them up, this isn't helping.. Has anyone else noticed that Jack & Danny wasn't the best choice for a name or is just me? Rhyming slang and all that..
2. Ziricote for me.
3. My 3 precision basses. Had the black one for a long time, modded with new pickups, brass nut, gotoh 201. Lots of growl! The Squier VM 5 is stock other than swapping the bridge for a chunkier version, picked up the sunburst Squier yesterday, 97' put some flats on it, shoved some foam under them, loving the tone..
4. Smallest was the Landlord and the organiser at an open mic Biggest was 500ish at a battle of the bands competition
5. Best gig I've been to so far. great to see Les play live, dissapointed they didnt play some more of there well known songs (e.g. my name is mud) but I will be buying the new album.
6. Very nice. Look forward to seeing the finished product.
7. First Bass.. Peavey Milestone 3 Go To Bass... Warwick Corvette Standard Your Bass... Warwick Corvette Standard I only own 3 basses the others being fretless and electric upright so neither could be my Go To Bass
8. Yeah I thought I'd Probably be in the minority with Percy.
9. Apart from the obvious ones Jaco etc. I quite like Pino Palladino and Percy Jones' fretless tones. 10. There is a way of playing the D# without stretching, using artificial harmonics. Victor Wooten uses this method as he cant stretch far enough, There is a video of him demostrating this on youtube but I cant find it. I think the position of the harmonic is just behind the front pick up or there abouts on the A string. I hope this is of some use to you.
11. Its on Youtube aswell :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NO_Pq3p5i4
12. I'm a fan of his I discovered him when my Dad played me some Brand X and then I bought all the Tunnels albums I agree that he can be a bit odd at times but thats him pushing the boundaries I suppose

18. Hi I'm looking for a piezo bridge to retro-fit to my fretless because I really like the sound Percy Jones gets out of his Ibanez EDA 900 I've found the one made by Hipshot but I was wondering wether anybody knew of any other companies that make them? Thanks Rodders
19. The channel changed to RockWorld TV but they still showed the lessons and had lots of unsigned bands on the channel aswell
20. I think the bass he's playing now is a prototype made by the Bass Centre http://www.basscentre.com/4-string-bass-gu...-prototype.html Its a replica of his old gold Jazz The price tag is a bit steep though
21. Nice. Dont Fender own Jackson? Thats where I think the headstock has come from
22. Ive just bought one today from PMT in Norwich
23. You'll be in competition with these guys http://www.losendos.co.uk/
24. I bought the 6 string version in January and i think its brilliant the sound, playability and quality all brilliant
25. I read somewhere on the net that the open low F# on a 7/8 string resonates at 23Hz with the lower limit of human hearing being 20Hz so anything below that is useless
