  1. Silly question maybe, how do you do that I can't seem to see an option?
  2. Bass still available.
  3. I can't believe this is still here but so it is. Make me an offer this weekend as we've had some unexpected costs when improving our garden.
  4. I thought I'd be the first person to buy this as it it almost what I would specify as a custom. I just wish it gave with something like the Nord's or my actual preference Aguilar from out of the box. I'm still waiting to pull the trigger and maybe to just got for the bass and upgrade too...
  5. I'm still gutted to this day I sold my blue trb6 when I was a music student. I still keep an eye out for it as it was my first 'proper' bass. Ive seen it pass through many years ago but this was the last it was seen...
  6. After debating whether to change them for a while, I found these Ultralites for sale thanks to @Bobthedog Big weight difference, but not enough to totally remove any movement. However when sitting bass now balances almost parallel with the floor rather than diving towards it. When standing a little forearm pressure and strap easily hold it where I prefer the angle to be. The costs are pushing it a bit now but for a c.£500-600 investment, I think it's been worthwhile to get in the short scale club with a level of quality I'm happy with. Definitely a market for more mid-quality short scales. Next mod: After filling the holes...one day maybe add a drop tuner hipshot xtender
  7. Immaculate cab which has been hardly used. I bought this end of last year from someone else that looked after it as well. I purely wanted something to get me through until my Aguilar cabs in green came so only played a handful of times in a smoke free home. At only 25 lbs. (11.34 kg), the SL 112 represents an entirely new path to the world-class Aguilar tone featuring a Neodymium driver with a custom-designed crossover. Power Handling: 250 watts RMS Frequency Response: 37 Hz – 16 kHz Sensitivity: 99.9 dB 1W 1M Phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug Custom crossover with variable tweeter control Impedance: 8 ohms Dimensions: 14 7/8″ H, 19″ W, 18″ D Weight: 25 lbs
  8. Still available for what I think is an excellent price. Help the one in one out club to get a new bass past the other half.
  9. Hi Marco The bass is available. Currently I'm not looking to ship it as it doesnct have a hard case and I also don't have an outer box. I'm waiting on a bass that will have an outer box and when that comes I will let you know if I can pack it secure enough but I have concerns being hollow for that journey. One option is I do have an Ibanez hard case and if you were looking for one I could sell both and it would be much more secure to post/courier. Mike
  10. SOLD
  11. Exactly this with mine too. Plus its been fun to do mods on, I'm near to doing the machineheads to be lighter and I'll let you know how that helps.
  12. I’ll add to this and say without doubt one of the best multi bass stands out there, keeping headstocks well away from walls and upright. So much so my wife even quite likes the look of my 5 basses now...doubt she’d let me buy another stand to have 10 basses though. GLWTs
  13. Anyone in this group changed the hardware on their TMBs? I've got plans for more lightweight tuners but looking for a 5 string bridge that would be a good alternative, in black ideally to match the new tuner hardware.
  14. I've wanted one of these since they were announced (I have a 1506MS I was reluctantly willing to let go as a one in me out to get one of these) but haven't put an order in as every time.i looked the supposed date of availability seems to be perpetually put back...but here it is so likely going to start being widely available now. I'm jealous and I feel I just need to get the order in! Thanks for the review.
  15. This talk has made me realize I don't consciously think about my electronics in my basses enough after 25 years of playing on and off. Maybe that's why I've never found 'the' sound?! The Aguilar PJ set I put in my TMB35 are as near to a great classic sound as I think I need that I'm happy with. But I've never found the more modern sound in my head yet for my own stuff. The nearest was my og TRB6 and the custom dual coil Nordstrand in the GWB35 I sold recently. Clean, full, not too hi-fi a blend of that slight Jaco burp and Foderaish smoothness without any brittleness or too many highs. I'll have to spend some time this weekend with all my Ibanezs to get to know specifically what I like better it seems.
  16. This is one of my favourite baselines since I first hear the Wiz soundtrack after finding a vinyl of it not even knowing at the time the film existed. Great playing.
  17. This SRMS one has got me interested in it purely from looks but not hte price: https://www.ibanez.com/jp/news/detail/20201210161940.html
  18. Annoyingly I really prefer the EHB1005MS and EHB1005SMS for 'looks' as seafoam and grey (which I know the latter is US only) over the current colour/wood for the more premium 1505 but would like Nords. That said I do have the EHB1506MS and like the dark finish and would happily have that with the nords on the 5ers.
  19. They obviously don't know what they're talking about. Everyone knows it's because the knobs are plastic. Change them to metal ones and it'll sound at least 27% better.
  20. Open to sensible offers.
  21. SOLD: Ibanez EHB1506MS for sale with upgraded John East Black Metal controls, Ibanez gigbag, ramp (attached) manual and Allen keys. Immaculate and obviously never gigged. I may regret it as this is one of the absolute best basses I've owed for size, low setup, weight, balance, sound and looks. But after 10ish years of being a purely 5 player with High C (but 15 years before that mainly 6) I've decided it's got to be a 5 string for me. I wish they did this colour/finish in a 5er. Specific trades I'm happy to consider with money my way except ANB: Ibanez EHB1005MS seafoam Ibanez EHB1005SMS green or grey (unlikely I know) Ibanez Adam Nitti ANB205 Cheers Mikey
  22. Likely my last lockdown purchase arrived (although a short scale EHB Ibanez has been calling...) Aguilar SL112 and SL212 in Poseidon Green.
  23. Oof... immediate impression is full on deep tone across the spectrum with no doubt more oompf than my old single 1*12. So who wore it best?
  24. They're in the house! (But I've got lots of work to do do unboxing has to wait...)
