1. Here are 2 of my 3, the third is a buttercream 2005 Ltd which I might sell soon but these bad boys are going nowhere.
2. I agree, around £1k is a very fair price, if you were to look back through these sold in the past on here you'd see that they have consistently fetched around this sort of value.
3. This has piqued my interest, looking forward to seeing the pics
4. Crikey I remember that Listerud too, that was a hell of a bass, that was on Bassworld though, no? Can't believe the quality of the basses you are shedding, I'd struggle to part with any of them. What's the conversion rate for the Kroner?
5. The action you can get is very low, in fact, the action Birdy had on it was to low for me so I had to raise it.
6. This is mine, so I'd say Red! http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/3948.html
7. Sweet dancing baby Jesus!! What a bass!
8. Gone to a good home.
9. And if you don't like them they are so heavy you could sell it to the US Navy as an anchor for an aircraft carrier.
10. we've had at least 2 of these go on sale through here and didn't Tombboy sell his, not seen him in a while. I think £900 is solid price for one of these they are the balls
11. Bump, a few interested but nothing concrete.
12. I've never thought about this before (I don't use multiple cabs anyway) but when hooking up your speakers in parrallel how does the wattage work. Lets say you had 2 x 4 ohm cabs giving you and impedance of 2 ohms running in parrallel (ie:just plugged 2 speakers into the back of the amp in a straightforward manner) The amp is at say...750 @ 2 ohms One cab is 350w The other 600w clearly you have enough headroom in total but presumably this would still be a bad idea since the 350w cab is effectively being driven with a max of 375w because the 750w from the amp has been divided equally, is this correct? or is there something I'm missing. Excellent thread.
13. Cab still available will take £200 collected.
14. Hard times on the BC for sale board **rattles tin** penny for a destitute cat?
15. Better watch out Bassy, if I shift my Sandberg Jazz anytime soon you might be subject to a Cougar bite. Lovely bass, deserves to be sold.
16. I'll take £650. Any trades also welcome, I've nothing specific in mind so make an offer.
17. Well Hyperion does the same thing and no one really complains. If it's for sale why not put it on here for a Basschatter to have a look at. If someone thinks it's against the spirit of the site they don't have to read or buy it do they.
18. **Bats thread with paw**...bump
19. Thanks Clauster dude, your search-fu is strong. It seems from general reviews that the one tone you struggle to get out of the DHA amps is the Hi-fi ultra clear tone you get from a solid state; would you say this is a fair assesment Dave? Since this is a tone I do need to use I'm not sure if I'd be better off looking at something else with maybe one of DHAs switchable pre-amps to augment the sound and get the valvey goodness.
20. I have. Just get lots of stuff about pedals and pre-amps, nothing about the actual amp heads.
21. Straight forward questions for you guys: has anyone tried one of Dave Halls Amp heads, I can't remember the exact name I think the most powerful is called the VSX 700 or something. I've been looking into getting a new head to go in my rig and so far I'm liking the GEnz Benz 750 but I keep hearing great things about DHA stuff. If anyone has what they like, vintage, modern etc. Do they compare to anything. There doesn't appear to be any sound clips on the website for the amps themselves.
22. Having thought it through and to add to my thoughts on trade I'm after a Sterling or a Stingray, and I wouldn't mind tinkering with a comparable 5 string.
23. NOW SOLD Hey guys for sale my GK 700RBII and 410RBH. Both in full working order cab is the sort of wedge type, the cab has some damage to the Gallien Kruger writing and has been well used, I've no idea if these came with casters originally but it doesn't have them now, I'll sort some pics out later on. If anyone is interested I'm in Scunny most of the time but can deliver anywhere on the M62 corridor or North Lincs/Humberside for petrol money. SOLD for the pair collected. I'll let either go for SOLD (£10 extra for the cable with either) cab is similar to this, head can be seen in my rack:
24. Dude I'm tempted but I have to get rid of my Sandberg JM4 before I go for anything else, luverly looking bass though.
