We certainly have a different perspective on the way we should behave on a community forum. It's very easy to make your comments on a web forum where you don't have to face the individual whose honesty is in question, as suggested before, if you have a problem; PM the seller, nobody is forcing anyone to buy or sell anything. I'd have no problem with someone publicly exposing a scam after trying the PM route, but in this instance it's plain there is no deception, the photos are there for all to see.

This bass makes me want to cry, I absolutely love sunburst and tort vintage jazzes, it would only be better if it was an early 70s (just for asthetic reasons). The worst part is that I'm 27 now and in 15 years time when I have climbed the greasy poll sufficiently to afford it and buy one of these it'll cost me 3-4 times as much, buying it now would actually save me money in the future. Alas I'm getting married in April 09 and I need to spend the cash on other things. Good luck with the sale Steve, I'll have to go now, the tears are making my keys too wet to type...

By my reckoning about £1100 quid inc VAT, import duty and postage not bad for what looks like a schminty fresh MM 30th, I'd be well jealous if I wasn't planning on snaffling an equally sexy lady soon. Good Luck.

Also +1 what Machines said about black, it's a total slag for scratching up. I think there is a differrence between a subjective opinion of condition with clear pictures and some of the dealers we get on here trying to rip people off, I'm all for protecting people from scammers but this is a bit picky lad. £460 is a solid price for the bass as described, good instrument one of the best value of the Fender sigs.

Hi guys, since I now run a line 6 Bass Pod pro thingymajig in my set up I have no further use for the V-amp pro, someone please take it off my hands because it ain't getting used, it's not in the original box but I'm sure I can find a suitable container for it, pretty sure I have the manual to. If not I think it's on 'el tinterneto' It was formerly owned by Dan "Dood" Veall and will actually make you play like him* It still bears some of his musk and mystique, which must add considerably to the value. Yours for £40 (£100 new) I'll drop it round the M62 for petrol money and I'm sure postage won't be too expensive anyway. Ah that's a nice looking bass, last few months the Warwick market has seemed a little lifeless though, might be worth haging on to?
