Hi Minibass. Glad you like yours, they are great fun to play. The materials, build quality and silky smooth finish are worthy of a much more expensive instrument. I put Daddario black nylon wounds on mine, I cut down a set of 34" scale strings. I didn't like the string noise from the std bronze strings. I was wondering about flat wounds but I'm happy with the nylon wounds. I bought roughly the same gauge as standard but then changed the tuning to ADGC. I took a guess for the gauge of the C string and bought a single string. Have fun, Andy.
