1. Well I pushed the button on the Ibanez 300ex Extreme, just could not get that sound out of my head. Got it for a song as well Cheers for all the pointers and suggestions guys
2. Any sign of a pic?? Could well be interested
3.
Is Traban still going?? I read rumours somewhere that they had been bought by BC Rich and basically phased out.
They are a sister company to BC and some of the models seem to be crossing over. Played 3 Trabens today expecting to walk out of the door with one, I was VERY disapointed with the guitars. Not good at all (for me anyway, each to their own) I have updated my new bass hunt on my other thread
4. I headed down to PMT in Manchester today and had a noodle around on a few bass's and as usual, the ones that I thought would be spot on were not even close and I had a new contender come from nowhere The Ibanez ICB300EX Iceman totally blew me away, the fastest neck I played by a mile and the sound was so versatile, from dark punch to high sparkle, it did it all without falling over, it just sounded and felt TIGHT! Also enjoyed the Epi T bird, next feel but not as versatile (will still get one in the future) I would have bought the 300 there and then, but they only had a rather bruised display model to offer so looks like I'l be looking around the web tonight
5.
Is it fair to say that sir likes his metal heavy.......and his basses reflect his tastes...?
It would be fair to say, yes Really starting hook on to the Traben Chaos Attack, Traben Array Limited Natural Spalted Maple, Traben Neo LTD in Spalted Burst and the Traben Havoc in black Only bugger is that I have no local stockist so would be buying without playing..... never keen on doing that! As for the quiz, I'll post the list tomorrow night so keep guessing
6. Think 10, 11 and 13 are my favorites!

11. Not my style, being 6ft 8" and 300 lbs More seriously, been looking at the Ibanez Iceman 300 etc PS, been playing 30 years, so I know I need to go and play, but with two young kids time is a premium
12. My first bass was a cheap ass sunburst Fender P copy bought from a pawn shop in Cardiff. Cost about £40 but meant everything to me at the time... reason for playing, simple, Steve Harris
13. Hi all I am playing a 5 string circa 84 B105 Washburn along with Les Paul guitars etc and I am looking for a 4 string fast neck low and heavy kind of a bass under £500. Suggestions on what to go try out please, oh and I do like "angry looking" bass's lol Cheers All Mark
