Ian Savage

On a cheap and cheerful tip (as I am a cheap and cheerful guy), the Danelectro Wasabi Drive has a blend control and is (apparently) quite similar in sound to a Sparkle Drive; I've had the former but not the latter so can't authenticate, but it's rather good anyway.

I'm having a bluesy/Stonesy week, so- Charlie Watts - drums Me - bass Franz Nicolay - keys Tom Waits - vocals/piano/whatever he bloody wants to do Keith Richards - guitar/vocals Ian Siegal - guitar/vocals To be honest, I'd rather be playing guitar or drums, but it's MY fantasy lineup and they're all better than me.

Welcome to the low end There seems to be a deluge of West Midlands/Black Country bass types joining up here of late, clearly the bassiest part of the country

The amp SHOULD have the power requirements on the back, somewhere near the IEC lead attachment; if it doesn't, yep, go with what's above.

The covers band I drum for use 'Rocks' by Primal Scream a lot as an opener, works well.
