1960s neck - short scale bass guitar (in London UK)
Agreed. The pickups both look like Arias to me. The cream neck pickup in particular looks exactly like an early 1980s Aria TSB550 or 650 pickup.
Wasn't sure whether both pickups had been changed at some point - great if they are Aria pickups -
A very nice playable short scale bass guitar originating from the 1960s, bound rosewood fingerboard, natural body (not sure if original), upgraded bridge and telecaster knobs, also changed pickups (possibly 1980s Aria according to information below). This bass plays really well with a vintage feel and sound. Comes with gig-bag. Price £150.

Late 1980s Jolana Jantar bass, in black with rosewood fingerboard, Czech made, looks a little like an Alembic type body and has 2 rear strap buttons. Needs a repair on the front switch assembly to get the front pickup to work. Rear pickup works fine . Could do with a set up but is solidly made with some good parts. Bargain price of £50 because of the electrical repair.

3x small guitar amps - in London UK
steveg replied to steveg's topic in Accessories & Other Musically Related Items For Sale
I seem to remember a shop called "Holiday Music" in Leyton many moons ago. I actually bought a Yamaha bass from that shop. I never knew they made their own amps too. Any ideas how old that one is ? Just found out they are now a part of Strings Direct based in Rochford, Essex. Hi I remember the shop but didn't get the amp there (go 2nd hand). The amp is badged Holiday Music - looks to me to be from the late 80s - in perfect working order
