1. No love for the Hamer Explorer?
 2.
The Emperor's New Mo..., sorry, Arctic Monkeys? I watched them with an open mind and hated them. Are they sh*te? Only in my opinion.
Confirming this rare outburst of subjectivity, I rather enjoyed them - though I was one of the masses on Twitter wondering about his accent. He can't be seeing his mam much talking like that
 3. Some more obscure ones from me. Kylesa - Ultraviolet Strong return to form from these guys, capturing some of the energy and intensity of 2009's Static Tensions. Looking back, you can almost see 2010's Spiral Shadow as a pause for breath, a reflection of some of their tiredness at the time - 3 years late, rested and refreshed, Ultraviolet delivers the goods. Kvelertak - Meir Marking the contiued popularity and evolution of Kvelertak, Meir retains all the energy for which they are becoming known, but it is a touch more accessible. A little more thoughtful in places, it almost lulls you into believing the band really have changed... but then Kvelertak go back to doing what they do best, which is kicking up riffs at a velocity Two stand outs for me, and possibly well known to fans of the heavier stuff
 4. Need to refresh the palate after Glasto: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDyHhV9UK-4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJUQvmFhOO4
 5. Very nice matey
 6. I suspect that I am selling at totally the wrong time for the market. Shame, lot of bass for the cash.
 7.
Everytime a Glastonbury audience member sings along with The xx, a Shoreditch hipster spills an espresso.
Haha, I like this. I didn't think they were much, though I know a lot of that is the style they effect and my own appreciation of that style - it's not my cup of tea, so perhaps no wonder I was underwhelmed! I thought they would have been in a tent, playing a smaller crowd - something a little more intimate, where the vibe might have worked better. But hey. They won a Mercury award, etc.
 8. Jackson Kelly bass, too.
 9.
Shoot me down but they sound like a pub band covering the Stones
Seconded. In true Glasto fashion, the set is now being heralded as the best thing ever. However... Putting the disappointment and cynicism down a moment, that was a group of very old men putting on that show. I hope I can do half as much when my time comes. And I thought, for all it's faults, it was pretty light-hearted and crowd pleasing. And I think we could have seen it coming, with hindsight - a set trapped between the age of the players, the memories of their past glories, and the corporate body of Glastonbury.
 10.
Already got one! Not to their standard yet mind.
Rich has. He's going to plait it into his nether regions at some point.
 11. My ambition of adding a second Gibson EB 2013 is being thwarted here
 12.
Thanks all - Is colour a huge cost difference on 'rays?
Hmm. Not sure. I think I had the impression that Black was slightly more, simply as it works for more people. Could be wrong - as I said, just a personal impression!
 13.
The marquee states that it's 101% commission free; that surely means that they pay you to sell your tat? Cool.
That did cause raised eyebrows! I've never used it, so I couldn't comment - sorry!
 14. Very nice, gorgeous bass
 15. You could find cheaper on here, without even trying much.
 16.
Unfortunately IME there are an awful lot of musicians who will never amount to any more than regurgitators of other peoples ideas.
This is probably me, sadly, however inadvertently. I'm drawn to an old story about Mick Jagger, and his giving KD Lang a writing credit. Seemingly he heard Constant Craving in a nightclub, got it stuck in his head, and went off and wrote Anybody Seen My Baby? without realising the glaring similiarity. I like big riffs. I'm just conscious that every now and then, enthused with some new idea which is pretty rocking, I'll put something on in the car and remark to myself: oh sh*t.
 17.
But what about Rickenbackers?
I hear they're a pale comparison to the Tokai originals
 18. I think I can balance this debate, a little - much as Fender, the business, might have detractors, it'd be fairer to say you can't beat Leo Fender. Fender, Musicman, G&L - that's a much broader church who've benefited from this ministry
 19.
I'm in Hornchurch, Essex. Where it is sunny.
Ok buddy, I'll have to see where work is taking me.
 20.
you will never run out of credit cards. I currently have a Barclaycard that I had 18 months interest free from a Tesco card, who used to be RBS , but Tesco own outright. I have a Halifax card waiting which has a 25 month balance transfer. I also have used Virgin and MBNA.I cycle through them I have had interest free cards for years with no problem. It doesn`t wreck your credit if you pay off every month, it actually helps if you are careful. When the card is near the end, get a months free trial with Experian.By the time you have gone around, the first credit card company will issue you with a new one. I do have a fallback of having shares if the 0% interest does go wrong to pay it off though By the way, to make it work, you need 2 cards initially. One to buy it, and one to transfer to straight away
All that activity is going on your credit reference, however. Even the Experian trial, if they run a check. You might be comfortable with that, but it can give people issues - hence urging caution.
 21.
Careful he has friends in high places....
Mountaintops, I imagine. But yes, Ped does a smart byline in menswear modelling.
 22. Where are you based, 4strings?
 23.
You are hardly the first person to come up with this idea. The industry has a name for it: Churning. It will work, provided that you make sure that you always keep ahead of the end of your 0% period and that you always have a new card available to transfer the outstanding amount to. What isn't so good is that you need a decent credit rating to qualify for the 0% deal in the first place and every subsequent "churn" will damage this rating. Also there are only so many card companies for you to rotate. Many banks won't issue a new card if you've held and cancelled one belonging to them or their subsidiaries within a certain time period. There's a danger that you'll eventually run out of options and your card will revert to the full interest rate without being able to transfer the amount. The damage that this practice does to your credit rating will also affect your ability to get bank loans or a mortgage. TBH unless you are very organised and have a really good credit rating (in which case you are probably better off shopping around for a really good low interest bank loan instead) you are likely at some point to come unstuck and possibly end up paying far more overall.
It is possible to do it - and I'm sure many people on here will be using the like to move small balances around. However, in the long run you'll run out of options. There are a finite number of providers, and the credit agencies have a long memory. It's only worth doing if you're fully intent and capable of using the interest free period to really hammer the borrowing.
 24. Bumpy. Seen something I like, so willing to consider offers
