  1. I’m in two minds now as I’ve quit the band I needed a 5 for. But - it’s such a good bass.
  2. Does this have a pickup? Thanks Andy
  3. I had the 4x8 from the same series. wish I’d added another, or got a 210 instead.
  4. Lovely thing, sorely tempted - my guitar playing doesn’t warrant a second guitar 😂
  5. Yeah. Looked like the bloody gold paint was flaking out.
  6. I sent a Les Paul back with something approaching that under the “poker chip” next to body/neck join - I spoke to European warehouse “if you think I’m selling that for £1800 you’re mad - I won’t do it” probably just went to another shop after I sent it.
  7. I didn’t play it…I also didn’t see the price. I just can’t believe that left the factory. I used to sell Gibson gear 2003-2014 and didn’t see anything quite as shocking as that.
  8. Well. I saw one of these in the flesh today. Erm. Wow. I haven’t seen finishing of that standard on a bass since I designed and made my own in GCSE woodworking in 1999.
  9. oh bluddy eck
  10. I love the look of the midwestern, just wish they’d do a 32/33/34 with a slightly larger body - so it looked in proportion. not a huge fan of their other body styles
  11. Rhymes with Runtbubbles. But with a C
  12. Can you text me mate, he’s struggling to find that bit - so am I…PP app is useless
  13. PayPal holding funds from my last sale as they’re utter c-bubbles
  14. Yeah. There was chrome red too… did a chrome blue on the strats that year but never the basses - real shame as it was gorgeous. This is a beauty
  15. How the hell is this still here?! GO AWAY YOU NAUGHTY BASS!!!
  16. I do love the look of these - and the sounds I’ve heard have all been lovely!
  17. If it was closer - I’d have this
  18. Such a classy looking bass mate - I know this is a wrench for you too.
  19. I preferred my 414 to my 1024, in fact…still got the 414 😏
  20. Looks like they’re bb424/414 pickups though rather than the 1024/2024 blade types…on the “p” ones 🤷🏻‍♂️
  21. so in about 2009 I worked for Dawsons - we were the distributor for Farida acoustic guitars. they sent some samples of electric basses and guitars (they would become the Squier classic vibe series) we did a p and j with them - and I said “could you do a fretless/Sadowsky style” they made me 2. One is fretless, one is fretted. they’re ace. Only ones in existence . “The twins”
