  1. Hahah. Wow. Not sure if I’m proud or ashamed 😂
  2. I dunno. I quite like that - but I haven’t got £8k so that’s irrelevant.
  3. I think it lasted about a year (I want to say 1996, maybe earlier) they crop up very rarely. I’ve always quite fancied one.
  4. Sorry @LeftyJ - a comparison (I actually didn’t realise how close the JPB Jackson was) And until the previous post I’d never thought the Washburn looked like a Jerzy Drozd - but it’s quite blatant…
  5. Yeah. A very rudimentary take on it. not as close as when Jackson nicked Marleaux’s design…
  6. Well - this was booked quickly, I reached out and got a great basschat response… thanks to @mr zed and @Dankology we now have a full lineup for Sunday 26th June. So - Please come down to witness some Basschat magic. The Dog Inn at Belthorn, Sunday 26th June, 2pm-6pm. Beer/BBQ and Bass players 🤣

  7. Both 😉
  8. Now active on some platforms 😉
  9. The Fender Steve Harris is flake over LPB so it should really work as it’s the same principle- you have to stare at it like a magic eye photo… ”oh look a schooner!” ”ha it’s a sailboat…” ”a schooner is a sailboat…”
  10. Teal - £1350 Red - £1450 Bump
  11. this… And it’s why I’ll always want a Musicmaster.
  12. There we go 😉
  13. No. just means the stairs and landing carpet can last another 12 months 😆
  14. I might’ve sent an email - need both current ray5’s to go to justify it
  15. Erm. That blue burst 5
  16. I absolutely adore the colour, I know @marleaux62 and I have similar bass tastes - it’s stunning. I have to behave. Gear is leaving Travis towers currently…☹️
  17. It’s nicely weighted - having a mare with work so won’t get to weigh it tonight as I’m straight off to band…and the digital scales need a battery 🤦🏻
  18. same… extension means rest of house needs doing too so it all adds up.
  19. yeah - we’ll see. The wife’s shopping list for the extension is growing…
  20. Not sure on this - but Johnny Architect is nipping over to look at the extension plans next week and my wallet is sweating. Im 99% sure this is the second time I’ve owned this bass: they’re phenomenal. Desert gold, light weight (9lbs ish) and plays…well, not much effort required. It’s a 2004/5 - is showing some of its age - little nicks and the satin neck is shinier around frets 1-7. But it’s stunning. The typical little mark on the headstock (so many bongos get it) - but everything else is a stare at it for 10 minutes and spot it kind of thing. wearing new slinkies. no case - so need to sort something. £25 shipped no insurance £45/£50 insured or collection/tryouts welcome
