  1. I’ll have to do all my reactions tomorrow. I’ve been on to Charles - Clarky, you’re going to be “Sir Clarky” from now on in. I emailed the pope about sainthood - he says if I bung him a tenner and some profiteroles he’ll get it sorted.
  2. I joined Basschat the day Ella was born…she’s now a bass player too! (Between Jen and I, obviously) She’s now nearly as big as me 😂 Bluddy teenagers 🙄🤣 @OliverBlackman I can’t react anymore today (see above) so have a 😂😂 and a 😉
  3. for you… (it’s not much, and I didn’t tune the bass…) But you know who is shouting down for bedtime stories 😂
  4. Yeah - I’m starting to see this…we’ll see how the work goes; I’ve just read through the emails with the guy again - the whole thing stinks… Once we started poking back, no “Andy/Jenny” it’s all “mr and mrs Travis” we said we wanted the OT’s back out to discuss what we can get support with 2 weeks ago…he hasn’t made that call. He’ll be on a fair wedge too id guess.
  5. Ooh gawd…it’s not a very big house, but yeah, sod it - bass bash at mine 😆
  6. If you want to join me in work surrounded by 1000 teenagers in Salford…
  7. It’s just the intent, the want to help - the thought process. It’s blown my mind. As I’ve said in another post…to all involved, you’re all welcome if you’re ever passing. I cannot express enough gratitude.
  8. IMG_3120.mov Just in case anyone didn’t see this. Our door is always open to all who’ve been involved… Always.
  9. To everyone involved, I’m baffled. I have to make a really clear point - we’re not destitute hand out folk at all - really not. This is an odd scenario for me and I’m rubbish at accepting help and knowing what to do with it. As a family we’ve always persevered and somehow managed where we’re at… I know this is not unique, I know all of you have lives, trials and tribulations. So I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Jenny is knocked out by this - sends her love and thanks. But we have been sold a “dream” and hung onto it for over 4 years - the reality is, Iris manages most tasks, but has zero independence because I have to carry her upstairs or monitor her climbing (she’s able to do this, but has a very fragile head due to Hydrocephalus so it’s risky) - she cannot get herself onto a toilet etc, so she has to be in Pull ups which she’s now becoming embarrassed about. We could’ve moved house - but they assured us they could adapt ours with an extension with a lift, sort of a mini house for iris. I cannot put enough words into this. I’m stunned. @Clarky you are a bloody great person.
  10. And now a message from our sponsored… IMG_3120.mov
  11. @tredders @TorturedSaints 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 ha - loopholed that old “like” button thing
  12. We did a charity walk for a family who’s child has similar condition to Iris - their local council wouldn’t provide a wheelchair for their kid. The chair was £650, think we got them £2000 in the end. For Iris’ ward at RMCH we did another thing - that went on until we donated/closed. think that was £1200.
