  1. I wait excitedly to see new gear posts so I can live vicariously…
  2. Saw this on Facebook last night… “Dear Friends and colleagues I would like to thank you for all the support you have given us over the last 25 years From this year forward i have decided to simplify my life and allow myself to concentrate on what I do best. For me this is my LED work and Super Quad production. In March 2019 at the start of Lockdown I set up my workshop back at home to enable me to carry on my LED work and allow the guys to carry on spraying and building when restrictions started lifting . I have been straddling the two workshops ever since which isn’t easy and has prompted me to make the home workshop my main interest and I want to give it my full and undivided attention. I have had to make some big decisions so as from the start of this year I am going to be closing down the Spray Shop and Pick guard services and for the foreseeable future New Enfield Builds. Please be rest assured that all our ongoing commissions and orders will be fulfilled and honoured in the same time frames as already agreed. I am still very much working in my workshop and am available to carry on the Sims LED work, custom making/installing our Sims Super Quads and will be very much supporting The Enfield Brand and will be there to service and help all our family. You will be able to contact me on my current email [email protected] +44 (0)7768401186 I again would like too deeply thank all those that have been a part of the Spray work, Pick guards, Sims Custom Guitars, Enfield Guitars and Basses over the last 20 years. It been a blast, with lots of memories and friendships on the way.“ Seems a shame - I suppose the last 3 years haven’t been easy with B***** and C**** Always liked their work. Lights and Pickups must be more profitable than basses l, paint and pickguards. best of luck to Martin 😘
  3. Christian bought my Bass Overdrive and it couldn’t have been easier: Cheers mate x
  4. Delighted to kick this off… Bought a Gallien Kreuger head from @Vin Venal absolutely brilliant. really helpful when PayPal were being tosspots and got the amp to me quicksmart. Good man - buy in confidence.
  5. Go on then. Bump
  6. Er. Is this an effect? either way…bump
  7. Bump. Boost bump…
  8. My wife?
  9. Ooooihhhh guff. Hmm. Yeah yeah. Ooof,
  10. Just spotted one of these on Facebook for £85 with the same battery compartment issue. it’s not this one - this one is BETTER
  11. £900 and after that… it’s staying
  12. And I’m in strong resolve mode at the minute
  13. To be fair, I’ve been playing for 25 years. Could be more…
  14. But he’s a forgiving little guy - it’s all good.
  15. I say if it doesn’t arrive - you’re in, and we’ll forget it ever happened 🤔
  16. I’m sitting in my ivory tower… right until it topples over, then I’ll deny the tower ever existed and say it was all just a joke I made, or a bet.
  17. That’s not what @Thunderbird said. 😬
  18. Not what Old Horse said…
  19. Sorry @Old Horse Murphy we collectively gave @Al Krowa hard time for a line Selector…there’s not a cat in hells… You Thunderbird rustler…
  20. Plug what does pedals… lots of outs. All cables included etc. boxed. bought new about 3 months ago. magic.
  21. It’s time for me to make you a brew…kettle’s on Nerys…get yer skates on… 😘
  22. Lovely amp… Second time I’ve had one. The volume pot is a bit scratchy (switch cleaner would probably sort) and the VU meter doesn’t do much…think it’s lost it’s ‘VU vu vuum…😋 (does light up, and move, just not as much as I’d expect) I have spoken with Ashdown who are more than happy to have a look/sort it - probably buttons cheap… But, having made a sneaky pre NYD 2022 amp purchase…I’ve decided it’s time for it to go to someone else and I don’t want to fork out for 2 lots of shipping and then sell it on. So, i’ll Leave that for you to decide… I have a box. So can ship at cost and risk…£15/20 in uk is my guess… Red. Slap. Ultra fast…
  23. Knight Rider’s KITT had a baby with a Korg DT-1000. Alternatively, don’t put it in a rack and wield it like a lightsaber. Very accurate tuner, apparently. I’m deaf as a post, but the band have specifically said I was most in tune since I bought this. Rack amp Is going…so is the rack. It’d look silly on my cab. Shame. But - you can win this, for 75 raffle tickets (£1 each) postage will probably be a fiver as it’s lightweight but big ish.
  24. Quack quack quack, wobble, wur wur wur… ”what does it sound like” that. Very controllable and enjoyable duck emulator from the folk at MXR. Has a dicky battery compartment, but it has magic tape on it. I used a PSU but works with a battery. £4.50 posted in UK. Go on, quack yourself silly,
