    Bought as “unused since the day it was bought”. Stands to reason its in 9.9/10 condition. One tiny mark on the back - I didn’t spot it so it may have happened in my ownership. I have swapped the bridge pickup for a Fender noiseless vintage model, when I surveyed others experiences of Aerodyne basses, the main comment was that the solo’ed bridge pickup was noisy. I also don’t feel much towards the stock chrome strat type knobs, so got some Fender pure vintage jazz knobs. All original parts will be in the deal - pickup was de-soldered at the pot, not just randomly hacked out… Also on the way is a padded fender bag as it came with the original box and nothing else… wearing brand new d’addario 45-100’s. I will include the (still ok) fender strings. Sounds warm, very clean. Collection is preferred as I’d hate a courier to have a pop at something so “new”. but shipping can be done at risk and cost. Sent a bass today £35 unsured in UK.

    The bb1600 has a more “shouldered” feeling neck, it’s a tiny bit chunkier - but not in an unpleasant way. Very much like the 1985 bb1100 I had. The 414 is slimmer and shallower like a flattened C shape - they reverted to the deeper feel on the 424… the body shapes are pretty much identical - slight variation on the treble cutout - about 5mm deeper on the older 80’s BB’s. The bb300 when I was a kid was a mega early Japanese one with the really shallow treble horn cut out. I don’t get involved in measuring necks/string spacing etc - I either get into a bass or I don’t, I never buy something just because of string spacing/nut etc. 😉

    Think so. Something like that anyhow. Think it’s when I told them a rebadged Squier strat wasn’t a £1000 American standard strat… bless. 😂

    Yeah - I’ve seen that too. About 4 months ago. It wasn’t shifting then either; some wild claim about it being the only natural one ever made, a “one off” - but the natural was a standard colour for the groove bass…

    Just sat messing… didn’t get out for the strings today as we had to do some running around for the kids… Maybe tomorrow.

    I think my circumstance with the sabre wasn’t that I paid after closing on Saturday and they don’t open on a Sunday… Funnily enough, I saw the ad on Facebook and went straight to their site to buy. They only do 10-2 on Saturday too, in store.
