  1. Major session guy, plays with Pink Floyd, has played with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Roxy Music/Brian Ferry - he’s done loads. Pretty much in the phone book under “first call” bass players like Pino Palladino, Leland Sklar and Nathan East (amongst others).
  2. If it’s under a grand and 750/1000w I’m in bother.
  3. I have put them - I know it’s not right, so I guessed about 4, once the list is running - we could denote p/pj/jj/active passive etc. some anomalies though - I’ve seen 1 or 2 400’s with 800 style pickguards (probably aftermarket) and a 400 which I now think was a 1600 body with a 400 neck. just in case people start googling images.
  4. What are they £1200?
  5. If it’s a blue double VU job, I’m screwed.

  7. 200/300/350 (1990’s)/350f/400/650/800/1000(1970’s) there are 100’s of them. Can’t be bothered 😂
  8. Dunno. And I didn’t measure. The 1100s is regular p placement too - not reversed. think the 1000/1200 are where the reverse P link comes from - the really old (late 70’s/Early 80’s) ones. The bb300 being an anomalous model for the mid 80’s, and the 350f The 450 (passive 1100s) is regular P setup too. Also, the BB’s are usually 21 frets - so maybe that has an overall impact on placement? Just speculation.
  9. Oooh god. Tempted
  10. Some hooky gear.
  11. Ishibashi often has “junk” listings.
  12. So I bought a brand new, boxed BBPH yesterday. Then I didn’t. That was a lot of excitement and disappointment all in one brief moment. I’ve asked Mrs Travis for help understanding this conflict of emotions as that’s what going to bed with me is like.
  13. Not for me. My 1600 was a bit more expensive but is immaculate(more or less). this isn’t there, “player grade” needs to be less. the one @LukeFRCSharedf was an absolute stunner. Might look for a bb-x in wine red 😂
  14. Had a hard paper round that one.
  15. And sell the cab for £100 and even better…
  16. ABSOLUTELY FUMING! would’ve done £500 for this amp 😩
  17. Ah. So I can’t see what stuff because it’s now sold.
  18. How are you accessing this? I’ve logged in and nothing is coming up
  19. I’ve missed this - annoyed, can’t see what that Ashdown rig went for
  20. Someone once said to me “keep it simple, stupid.” so I do.
  21. Might be pulling this. 1. it’s a beauty. 2. My “something that fell in my lap” is a cockup.
  22. XR3i’s was what I was going to say. Betamax Knight Riders
  23. Something quite surprising and exciting has fallen into my lap. I need to ensure there’s a bit of cash in the pot. Gutted it has to be this. It’s a wonderful bass. 1987/88 hardware is Gotoh and Yamaha bb3000 (Japan) - frets and Brass nut done by @Andyjr1515 honestly, if I didn’t have the bb1600, this is the best p/j bb I’ve had. Great condition, couple of tiny marks around the top edge, but looks ace. Will have to try and sort a case or bag. shipping possible at cost/risk.
  24. Looks loads better.
