    I’d say pre 1980 is “vintage”. post 1980 to 1990 “near - vintage”. 1990-2000 “old” 😂

    This has been doing the rounds for a few years now. Not done tastefully enough to make sense. And the price has been £3000 down to £900 and everything in between, without a sale.

    That’s sort of how sting plays isn’t it? saw a cool post on Facebook somewhere which showed the progressive wear on his 50’s P from the mid 90’s to 2021

    Taken from my Aerodyne, I just wanted a more classic fender look. They’re heavy, chrome, and sort of a strat knob with a recess before the skirt. Push fit for splined pots.

    As per description… taken from 2014 unused aerodyne, I use the bridge pickup solo’ed a lot and had a Fender Vintage Noiseless pickup spare so did a swap. nice pickup - single coil. all the wire is there as I de-soldered from the pot.

    I had one of these - and foolishly sold it to a mate. I went to see his band, I’ve never heard a bass fill (but not kill) a mix like it, just a wonderful, full and warm sound.

    Craig just collected my Yamaha bb350. Really lovely bloke. gutted we couldn’t play and talk more, but deal in confidence guys. absolutely would deal again (even to buy the yamaha back 😉)

    It’s a Korean “Toby Pro” - feels great, have just pulled out the Allen keys and made it right for me. shipped with brand new d’addario’s which is handy.

    First band; head butted the singer over a girl. Second band - I was playing guitar and singing, joined another band as a bass player and it fizzled. Third band - couldn’t put up with substance use with other members. And had recently become a single dad so couldn’t keep on going. Left. Fourth band - couldn’t stand working with incompetent people, left. Fifth band - couldn’t stand one of the two singers. Sixth band - still here, but on its 3rd iteration.
