    Well. Gas is cow poop. there. In 1997 I started on a Yamaha bb300 with a reverse P pickup. I played (eventually) into a Trace Elliot combo. With 12” speaker. After £10,000’s of buying and selling… Im back at a yamaha bb350 (actually a 350f but with frets added…) And something of TE lineage with 12 band eq on the way. Into a 212. I’ve wasted my 25 years of playing. all I’ve added into the equation is a j pickup at the bridge and an extra 12” speaker. Oh and about 200/250w. Im such an idiot 😂

    About 2 months ago - bbp35 bridge appeared on the marketplace. @lee650 hated the stock 425 bridge with the mad little extension. Between us, we sorted it being on his bass. I did it yesterday and delivered today in a hail of IPA.

    Right need this gone because like an idiot I’ve just bought a new amp before I’ve sold my current one. £275 collected from Manchester. £325 man and van in UK. Not really got much opportunity to drop off as we have a busy few weeks ahead - but can definitely arrange to have someone home.

    An amp I had a few years ago has come up and I fancy go out another go. to facilitate this, I’d have to let the Reidmar go. now…not to say I don’t like the Reidmar. I do like it, a lot. But, I only sold the other amp as something went wrong with the boiler and had 2 similar heads at the time, £375 collected in manc £20 to ship using UPS in UK. Mains lead included - I got this from @Dood who’d had it from new did a demo or two and then shipped to me.

    Here are the times he’s recreated the image which he’s now “traumatised” by - not underestimating the “trauma” of having “Nevermind” being tattooed across his chest. And the “hey, I’m the guy who was the baby on the nevermind cover” pickup line to get laid and the subsequent “damage” of being dumped because his fame wasn’t much of an earner… Just needs to go and trap his head in a door somewhere.

    I had the FX25b (about 3 of them) - I preferred the QTron, but wish I’d kept the last FX25b as a variation on sound - much more “quack” than anything I’ve had. Current MXR Auto Q seems to do a bit of both, so I’ll live.

    Bought a few shandies in. Also bought a bass on the same night and then I’ve gone and bought a preamp pedal, and a pedalboard and looking for an overdrive and tuner pedal… I need to top the pot back up because I have an impending refinish to pay for. Lovely LR baggs Preamp with inbuilt tuner. Solid top, brand new Elixir strings just on it, and some spares in the included padded bag which are just standard 80/20 bronze. Shipping will be risky. I’d prefer collection or a ‘man and van’ collection which would be £50 in UK. They’re £450 new, the chap I got this from had had it a month and couldn’t get his head around the deep sound and stretch of the neck compared to his standard guitar. As a bass player…it’s a doddle to get around on.
