  1. Yeah. Also the 1200 was in trans “bottle” green.
  2. Well, 2 days on - no reply with the information I asked for. Great business skills.
  3. Hahah. I will talk with Dave Wilson.
  4. It’s a beauty. That’s purple and LPB app at once!
  5. Not for me, I’m all about the metallics...
  6. I know this sounds daft...if I’m paying for a refin, I want it to be something not seen from the factory... Metallic green and Purple up there massively. I am soft when it comes to blue basses though. My car is blue, I buy blue things...all stems from an early memory when dad had what was effectively a LPB mk2 escort ghia. Sad, I know.
  7. As an aside - had anyone got 4 of these in a draw? I had 2 spare sets and sold/used them so I’ve got a couple of parts but not a workings set. These have been replaced on the 350f. Another option is hipshot/gotoh lollipops.
  8. Yeah...yeah. Can’t go wrong with LPB.
  9. Won’t do matte ever...for reference a bb300 refinished in LPB
  10. The green would be metallic - but like the bottle green bb1200’s. Or the purple, like the bb5000 rarely appears in. LPB is done - I’m still waiting on remortgage to be done and then I’m talking to @marleaux62 about his 1300. and Burgundy Mist...not sure, had a bass in that before. Matching Headstock is being done too, and then a decal.
  11. So I’ve just sorted the bb350f discussed above. Frets will occur first. Then Ive got to Sand the red paint off and make a decision. here are options currently LPB, Sherwood Green, burgundy Mist,Royal Purple...
  12. 415WR - looks like it’s in good nick under there.
  13. Yeah. Needs a bloody good clean. In current state it’s a £150 bass at best. Cleaned and set up/restrung and sparkly...possibly £250-£300. I mentioned this in another thread about the efforts of a well known shop in Manchester. ”it’s vintage” ‘oh right mate, just looks filthy...’
  14. The pickup, controls and output are all on the same module. So you could, but you’d need 2 cables And 2 amps.
  15. My tune is 7.5lbs. A bit “too” light. My Jack Casady is 8lbs with a high mass babicz bridge thrown in the mix. 9lbs is about my limit too...
  16. Hmmmmmm....wonder how much postage would be... Ignore me - just done a spec sheet check and not suitable for my requirements 🙃
  17. Did you feel it was a good move? Hard to guess my way as there are no Vanderklay dealers nearby
  18. They’re a different breed the older BB’s, £250 would be my limit really for a bb300
  19. It’s hard to see in the photos, but the finish was peeling away - the more I think, the more it looks like it’s been exposed to damp. Never good.
  20. There’s a nice bb300 in black on Facebook currently. Bit rich at £300 but to be fair it’s in good nick and worth every penny. Early Taiwanese I think due to shape - seller says 81 (I’d guessed 84/5) https://www.facebook.com/groups/184621401586617/permalink/3885984948116892/
  21. No worries. I think it’s an earlier 90’s one as the later ones were a bit more bulbous. Ive no idea what body of use with it. I’m off to think 😉
