Knurled Black Metal knobs - from a Korean 1990’s Dean - Heavy, good quality bits. £8 7.     I’m on holiday after Tuesday next week, I’ve ordered fresh sets of strings for al my basses and will do a comparison between a few of the Bb’s. Hoping to have an up and running reverse p/j by then too.

    So bb450 vs 424x tonight. 450 is livelier, great for cutting through. 424x warmer, fuller. both absolutely corking.

    hmm. No comment. to be fair - they know it would be a dicey situation so… I have on occasion made them repaint doors and corners where they’ve taken pens to places they shouldn’t have. And t-cut to to car when the scooter/bike or dolls pram have bumped the car on the drive.

    It was one of a handful made for Frankfurt Musikmesse 2005, based on Sting’s 56/57 bass - the tale with is that Bernard himself took one, mine was on the trade stand…and there were a couple in the US. Sold it to @Beedster who moved it on eventually. It was lovely.
