  1. Happy to entertain BB414 BB424x bb1600/BBX bb450 bb1500a (mad 1990’s active yamaha J) And will entertain offers via PM.
  2. Ah wow, it’s like the one I had, just not messed with. Great basses.
  3. Yeah should be mate 👍🏼
  4. What do you want to achieve with it? same as currently on it? more mass? they’re a fender fitment, luckily…
  5. Honestly if @sgh would look at my bb1300 and maybe something else I’d have this.
  6. Put it this way - if I had the cashish this would be sat in Salford
  7. Not an issue I’d worry about, if that was up and down the length of the neck it’d be a £450 up charge option. I wouldn’t give it a second thought.
  8. He’s quite handsy…aggressively so. And I’m easily lead.
  9. It’d be dangerous, I know @leemarseillebass has 2. And I daren’t go to his gaff and he’s only up the road. He’s a good looking fella too, so the AT2 might not be the only charm I can’t resist.
  10. I’d love this GB, but I’ve spent so much recently, Mrs T would cut my gigglestick off with a rusty blade if this arrived…
  11. Honestly, if you’ll take a swap for 3 basses…we can talk…🤓
  12. Steve had a Vanderklay 212 for sale. I pined for it - but it was so far away. With a bit of jibber jabber we hatched a plan. He wrapped it absolutely perfectly for a courier to collect, liaised with the courier and kept in touch throughout. what a guy. I’m absolutely made up - thank you mate.
  13. Wow. Just wow. Nearly in tears with how “right” this is. Bigger than I expected, which is good… Full rehearsal is a week off though, so full report to follow.
  14. Like that @Cat Burrito and as a Tom Petty fan (there are elements of that) I like the music too. Nicely done.
  15. I would love to have a go - I’ve not got the biggest hands, but seem to manage with huge necks.
  16. Bb414 is the same. I miss my red bb714bs. GAH!
  17. The standards (which are wonderful p/j basses) have wide/flat necks. Like my 62 precision actually. And the specials which are “diet” attitudes with mono output and the woofer pickup are more like the BB424x Owned all of them…sold, stupidly.
  18. Mrs T? 😉
  19. Attitudes are based on a 68 telecaster bass. baseball bats.
  20. That sounds like me talking to the wife… (sorry…couldn’t resist…also me talking to my wife…ok, I’ll stop…also also me talking to the wife)
  21. Yeah, I had a lovely 1024x - the 424x has the same profile, as narrow and a bit deeper than the 414. Wide and flat - think the bb300/350/450 might be the way. but they’re not that wide.
  22. This is cool…I keep looking. I know it wouldn’t work out though. The 424x’s are unbelievable as a point,
  23. There’s a spate of these instruments which wouldn’t sell 2 years ago at normal prices at mad levels recently… Squier baritone jazzmasters - advertised at £650-£800 Epiphone Tom Delonge 333 - mad money Hello Kitty Strats - £600+ Mark Hoppus and Tom Delonge fenders - silly money. weird times.
  24. I’m inclined to agree 😉
