    Yeah. But they also elected to make the 424/1024/2024 in black/burst/white - so from a minor distance the £400/£800 and £2000 model all looked the same… They get so much right, and so much wrong. the Pacifica guitars get some weird and wonderful colours/flame tops etc… bass land…Nope.

    This is honestly where I’m at (sorry @lee650) just, a dream. 1/3 jazz 1/3 precision 1/3 stingray so, I have to finish the project this one is Lee’s fretless with the neck @Andyjr1515did for me, which means on Wednesday it’s back to fretless and gone 😩

    Well, I have more BB’s than sense. One is in bits and need finishing. One is seeing all the action. One hasn’t arrived. After a huge voyage of discovery… Reverse p/j is the right way for me - so. Here we go. both have upgraded Gotoh Bridges. Both have brand new Fender 45-100 strings. white one has some very minor marks - impossible to photograph some swirls on Pickguard. red one is super clean. has an Armadillo basic bag. both 9.5lbs Both have yamaha black knobs - they look and feel better, are lighter and fill the control plate out a bit more than the metal ones. shipping with Parcelforce is £25 in UK. man and van courier £50 in UK. Paypal gift if I know you (ie - you’re a regular) Bank Transfer or PayPal Goods - you cover fees if I don’t know you. Cash on collection from Manchester (M27) £350 per bass only interested in trades via PM, but in all honesty, it’d have to be a reverse P with a J bridge unit - or would trade 2 basses toward a sunburst Roadworn 50’s Precision with a bit from me or a 50’s classic in sunburst as a straight swap.     So after much deliberation, the reverse P/J is definitely the one for me. Orange 414 is staying. White and Red 424x will be listed shortly.

    That’s the one I had. The Knobs are non original and under the E at the bridge, there’s a little mark from string pull through. I nearly pressed “buy” last night, but I know the body shape wouldn’t work for me. And I’m in pursuit of another reverse P/J BB which I used to own 😂

    Aww no. I hope your health improves/stabilises. An Aria Sinsonido bass might allow you to keep your hand in? they weigh about 2lbs, but are still full scale and have a wire frame body to sit and play x

    Well, it’ll want a new machinehead as he’s put a chrome one on. and I’d say it’ll want a clean/setup. if he’s willing to drop to me in Manchester, I can hold/pack for shipping. or use that man and van guy to collect that walshy put me on to - would be £50/£60 to your door

    The reverse p/j is exactly the sound in my head… it’s a bit of everything. This is the fretted neck @Andyjr1515 did for me - wonderful. On the body of the drunken eBay fretless purchase. Alas, it’s non permanent as the fretless body and neck are to be reunited shortly when I drop it to @lee650 (I did tell him I’d be doing this…)

    Some roto flats - 45-105, fender cut (4 aside) but I’m not sure the guy cut them at all. I don’t use flats - they seem relatively new, not for me at all. Anyone wanting to try flats or have spares. £2 to post In uk.
