  1. Well, it’s messed with and to be fair - it’s seen off more expensive BB’s and even gets picked over a sadowsky for most stuff...and it’s only “worth” about £200 at a push.
  2. never say never...but...this one. Everything else, it seems...has a price
  3. Yeah. I’m at that critical mass of bills vs gear and I’m not going to be playing much guitar now the band is back up and running
  4. Bought to record when I couldn’t access the band. That seems to be resolved so... decent HSS guitar, covers all sounds, plays well. Changed the Pickguard and knobs. Originals included. In really decent nick - couple of minor dings but no big chips etc.
  5. Love how this sounds, love everything about it but I’ve been let down on storage at rehearsal space so I realistically can’t keep lugging in about - my back won’t stand for much and I’m not doing anything big enough these days to justify the power handling. I would love to swap for an Ashdown RM414t if anyone wants the EBS goodness. Need a 4ohm Cab to replace so will entertain any trades. it’s in decent cosmetic condition, the corners are a bit scuffed as is the badge - I have a new badge for it sent from EBS. Never got round to fitting it. Collection only, I can’t risk my back at the moment - it’s manageable as a one man lift, but it only takes one twinge and I’m out 😩 Configuration 4x 10" + 2" Frequency Response 70 - 18k Hz Sensitivity 102 dB Power Rating 800 W RMS Impedance 4 ohms Volume 116 liters Height 69 cm / 27" Width 58 cm / 23" Depth 44 cm / 17" Weight 36.1 kg / 77.4 lbs
  6. Possibly teisco or similar. Old 60’s cheapo. Looks cool
  7. Didn’t get that far. 1. Check wallet 2. Check location of desired item... 3. Who do I know near location of item of postage isn’t an option... 4. What day do I sort delivery so Jen is at work... I fell at the first hurdle this time.,,
  8. Makes me miss 2 basses in one. My Sadowsky RV4 in 59 Burst and my old Lull V5 Gutted I’m currently skint.
  9. If I actually plugged my rig in I dare say the neighbourhood watch team would flip...
  10. Sounds like root/5th code might be more suitable at the moment - but I’ve put a note on the community page to say “keep it up - sounds great” as I know I needed encouragement when I got started.
  11. Sat in the garden and can hear someone plodding through bass exercises, they’ve been at it for a good hour - more than I’ve practiced for months. Fair play, I remember how exciting that first voyage of discovery into bass was. I need to play more. So that’s definitely a 4th bass player I know of on our estate. Lovely to hear that familiar thump.
  12. Maybe it’s time for me to learn leftie 😟
  13. @Maude is the BEX for sale? 😜
  14. I had a blue BEX. still kicking myself for that not being here...
  15. Would love a Gibson Les Paul Signature from the 70’s or a reissue. Cannot believe with the popularity of the Casady, that they’ve not done it. And I know essentially on paper, there wouldn’t be much in it - it would just be a lovely thing to own.
  16. They’re ace. Ive done some recordings with mine to try and give an idea of sounds. I’ll upload shortly - not that I wanted to put this stuff out there, but - what the heck 😂 the top one (soundtrack one) takes a while to get going, “Trav cruises” is a stupid joke I did with @Cuzzie and “Skylines” was more about getting used to a new guitar. it’s wearing well worn sadowsky rounds.
  17. I really fancy an 500n too. Theres an ESP/LTD Which is a similar style, they seem to vary in price too. This still needs a new set of strings and a clean/setup. Im off work for a Fortnight from Wednesday so will get chance.
  18. I keep looking at teal 434’s and thinking a single ply black pickguard would make it...
  19. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174699058283 Wish I had the coin.
