  1. Love this.
  2. I wish 🙄😘
  3. Thunderbird. Adore how they look. They look terrible on me, and sit wrong, Rickenbacker 4003. Never ever got a sound I liked. Gutted - it was stunning to look at. Jaydee Supernatural. Didn’t suit the band I was in - wish I’d held onto it. Been refinished recently and documented on here. status king bass. Loved the sound, the look - set off shoulder spasms. Gutted.
  4. @marleaux62 has one, signed. Maybe you should talk to him.
  5. I think that’s a scale model to be fair
  6. This absolutely radius’s my block…
  7. Metallica S&M2 on now. Just missed a Pearl Jam thing too 😩
  8. I’ve just ripped me pants… 🥰🥰🥰🥰
  9. Me…currently (this is my “I’m very excited” pose). Thanks for doing this @Andyjr1515 when I know you’re mad busy xxx
  10. Been a while since I’ve done “bb on the stairs” - think the last time was the 714bs… wonder where that ended up…
  11. I’d say light - looks fine down the side of the neck, Yamaha are one of the most consistent mass manufacturers going. The two bb 424’s I had were only a couple of grams apart and very close to my 414 weight wise. Ive had fenders at 7.5 and up to 11lbs and neck pockets from the 90’s which were gappy too. Not fender bashing at all - love a good fender.
  12. Ive never seen a yamaha neck pocket with a big gap. I’d want my hands on that before buying
  13. I know. I’m changing my username to Vivian…
  14. Phone had a massive episode after posting that. Oh well, at the time it was hilarious. Now I want to smash my phone.
  15. Wasn’t planning on, but I’m easily bought
  16. Noice. Not close enough…and possibly a bit more than I wanted to pay. Will think on that 👍🏼
  17. Looks like it could be short though @Ricky Rioli
  18. Don’t bank on that. S means all sorts in vintage yamaha land. There are medium and short scale bb’s. I cannot get my head around those earlier models and my brain hurts a lot.
  19. Early 80’s. Probably about 83-85 then replaced by bb450. the Grover Titans on that bass have been made a pigs ear of and it’s a real shame. think the VI/IV etc were Japan only, so it’s rare to see over here. And the original machineheads are a bugger to get hold of
  20. Yeah, old favourite of mine
  21. I always have and always will love the Deftones. The wife and kids were out yesterday and I had their recent (ish) album “Gore” on at a hefty tilt… They came back in and Jen said “ooh trav, he sounds in pain - and it’s too loud”. But I like old heavy too - she’ll happily listen to Metallica and that kind of stuff, just think Chino’s screaming isn’t her cup of tea. Although I spotted The Disturbed on her Spotify playlist.
  22. Out of interest - was I just really unlucky with mine, or have you had any niggles?
