    Ballsed up. Got giddy because it was local. Didn’t really look at the pictures. It’s the Danelectro 63 in red burst just like I wanted…but it’s the short scale version. Plays ace, sounds cool…too short 🫤 Durrr. Anyone done the opposite and ended up with the long scale and would prefer the shorty? Happy to sell/entertain trades… no case - will ship, at buyers risk - £15 in UK.

    1994 LPB-2 Deluxe in Heritage Cherry Got some Gibson Speed Knobs on it…sounds very un-Gibson with Bartolini Humbuckers and TCT preamp. Like a very angry stingray…but can do a nice modern clean hi-fi set of sounds too. Lives on a low slung strap now. Ace.

    I had one in amber with LED’s - still wonder where that bass is; it cropped up once on eBay…think I was 18/19 when I bought it. Theyre Korean build, neck through…very cool/different

    Love these. Got a hankering for a particular P bass Jay is selling so this is currently up for offer. its on ebay/reverb etc for more and I’ve sold 2 for £550 recently so £500 seems alright. this was the best of 3 i had. no case, but ill include a 4 saddle (hens teeth) bridge with it. wearing fender black nylon flats. the 4 saddle has a brand new set of fender rounds attached. I can ship, but collection is preferred. No trades as I have the bass I want in mind.

    Well…I saw some cort through neck thing at the Birmingham guitar show and that was £1500 so I suppose these are expected to be a bit more expensive… the shape is the thing on these - they’re very aesthetically appealing. not sure if the idea of them as a premium brand has been killed off? A lot of time has passed since their heyday. Also, presumably their website prices are full whack retail, not “street” price.

    Yes. That’s what I’ve done but for whatever reason it doesn’t work. as for the effort/seriousness involved; I did it in about 40 minutes start to finish so it wasn’t really about presentation of a polished work. if I get some free time before the deadline I’ll re-record it 👍🏼

    I have issues with the copy/paste on iPhone…no idea why. It’s worked once in 2 years. mixing wise - I didn’t take much time on it. 😆
