    Yeah, their design team do projects every year - this was the 2002/3 project. I got a HH in desert gold for my 21st birthday. sold it. Unbelievable. Still hate myself for it.

    Yes - it’s pretty much my golden rule. Maple fingerboards shouldn’t wear matching body colour headstocks. Looks turd.

    No, full side depth - the aerodyne basses are sort of convex front and back, meeting at a slimmer depth - like an Ibanez S-line guitar.

    Think this is some custom shop doofer - not necessarily an anniversary model. I really want to slap Fender’s marketing and design team at times. Anyhow. I’d get my mate Rog to make me a p/j of the above. Which I already sort of have. So I don’t want it.
