  1. Was gonna ask “is that the 4 knob pre?” I found the 5 knob version too difficult, gave me a banging headache trying to figure out what was going on.
  2. @Dan Dare it’s all gone a bit Toyah and Robert at your gaff then? 🤭
  3. Bump. Anyone looking at their cab and thinking “it’s not enough of a beast...” This is the very fellow you need.
  4. My nearly 12 year old daughter often controls Spotify on the drive back to her mothers gaff... She put this song on... I presume it’s a TikTok thing...seeing how it’s 10 or so years since release. I cannot stop hearing it. And it refers to pretty much everything from my childhood. Which makes me feel old, but somehow relevant again.
  5. @LukeFRC what was the last blue thing you ate?
  6. I’ve eaten everyone’s. And thrown up in the car park. soz.
  7. I’m watching that status...doubt it’ll stay reasonable though.
  8. Great - it’s a weird balance for me with a hollowbody, I keep the action a bit higher than I would on a solid body. so it’s ideal really - probably “plays well” for 99% of people and suits me fine as my skill level doesn’t merit any kind of pickiness or accuracy 😂
  9. I did 1m and it’s plenty for head/1 cab - feels 10 times more substantial than the stagg ones I had previously.
  10. This is decent, had it about a year now.
  11. That’s the first bbn4, they had a 3+1 headstock and apparently Musicman weren’t best pleased. They crop up occasionally, but not at £400
  12. Had one of these in blue - great bass.
  13. Great basses.
  14. Sugar. Nice.
  15. Nice. I had that as a 4.
  16. Oooh. Now then. This excites me Mick!
  17. @Horizontalste I love that 😉
  18. If it’s a good sounding/playing/well put together J type, it could say “mutton chops” on the headstock as far as I’m concerned - £700 isn’t astronomical, if it’s a Good instrument. I’ve owned Yamaha’s from £100 worth to £3000 - the name on the headstock doesn’t mean much. I sold a Squier Venus electric 12 for £800 About 7 years ago - god knows what I’d get for it now. And it’s not emperors new clothes - it’s a nearly 40 year old instrument which was the predecessor of the current Fender Japan reissues which fetch £700+ The only “big” difference is a water slide decal on the headstock front. 🤷🏻‍♂️😉
  19. SOUNDS OR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN 🥸😜
