  1. Haha, nah...just looking guv, honest..
  2. Just spotted these, think they’ve been about for a bit. Nice P/J with Duncan vintage pickups. Anyone seen one out in the wild? I like the white one. Seem about £800. weird price point I suppose.
  3. Weight, adjustability, sound acoustically and plugged in. I can now make the Casady play more like the solid body basses I have. Sounds better too.
  4. Didn’t Nick Smith @doctor_of_the_bass have a hand in these?
  5. Samick did this too - early 1990s SAKB model
  6. I’m sure this has been sold on basschat before.
  7. I’d guess warping in single piece necks is a 1/1000 if not less issue. Maintenance, correct storage and stuff like that... I owned a Jaydee with a multi laminate neck which was probably the least stable neck I’ve owned. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  8. 415 was orange... I really didn’t feel any benefit to a multi laminate neck. Same pickups, bridge, wiring, body woods, neck join... Same player, same basslines. In fact they were so similar, I shoved flats on the 415 and ended up not using it as much...but to justify taking the two to gigs. A bad multi laminate neck or a good non laminated neck... I do fancy a 424x just to have that pickguard/metal plate look. And red was the least dull colour they did.
  9. But then again, I owned a 425/415 at the same time and liked both equally...and out of all of the BB’s I’ve owned - the 414 remains, and I preferred it to the “superior” 1024x. All subjective really.
  10. Collect only. Shame - only realised it was collect after sending the link to @lee650
  11. Hope that’s not the only finish available “post sprout toilet bowl” isn’t that appealing...
  12. Must’ve been told to remove them...haven’t cleared up their Google ads yet though 😉
  13. The 2024 had a lot of clever bits going on with the body join etc, more expensive to make. Too expensive probably - especially with the 1024 at about £600/£700 I suppose the p34 sits between 1024/2024 in real terms.
  14. Hard that - sort of the 2024
  15. Aye, and chrome bit.
  16. Well...from initial destination to dealer.
  17. My Japan Metroline is the same as this.
  18. And I let them go. Typical
  19. My SB-1000 had a dead pickup. I found an MB sized aria pickup from a “laser” model aria and had it fitted. Had exposed polepieces in a P configuration. I much preferred my SB-700 - it sounded like the setting I used the most on the 1000. God damn it. That 700...
  20. Ratuia replacement pickup is a fair idea too - he makes all sorts and you won’t have to modify the body.
  21. I wouldn’t personally. the preamp is a reversible mod. The pickup routing is not. Find a more battered aria for that. You've made me cry about my sb700. 😞
  22. I just added a Babicz FCH-3 to a Jack Casady - the difference was massive. I have added badass 2 bridges to lots of fender basses and found there to be some difference, but how much of that was down to larger footprint of contact or added mass - I don’t know. I do think they look loads better than a bbot if nothing else.
  23. Not many knocking about in ebony. Nice Bass.
  24. £300 is top dollar - and it’s been messed with.
