Tony Kanal was one of the main contributors to the development of the BB2024 etc. Also, I didn’t realise he was actually originally from London.

this was a modified 80’s bass rather than the BB2024/1024x - but I dare say it had a lot to do with how those basses turned out.

But no, TK didn’t have a signature model. He used BB1600 and BB3000 models.

They’re stating “low stock” in Liverpool. I’m going to hang on until I can see a couple at once, the grain through the trans looks much better in the pics above, but would want the one I get to be in my hands before purchase.

I got very close last night. But I went to bed and woke up thinking I’d made the right choice in not buying. Then the two sets of pictures above have sent me under. Mad, it’s just a red Yamaha P...but I want one.
