Well, had a chat with our very own @PatrickJ who’s kindly messed about with video and audio. (Thank you mate - beers on me x) so this is the original “guitarist audition” track... but live.

The RM’s are excellent, so are the ABM’s. I went from an ABM500RC (evo2 or 3 - can’t remember) to the RM800H and the sound was very similar. Loved that head. Small, light and loud as sin.

@Hiis contact BTN music - they carry spares for all Sorts of Yamahas. The last pickups like that were on the Bb424/x

Well...just getting going...and another lockdown. Anyhow. Feels this journey is complete for now. tried editing 2 videos and audio together on iMovie (iPhone) and couldn’t get it to behave. So...here’s a video of a song we’ve been working on...me and Tom playing (the other angle is Max and Andy guitar) The rehearsal space is closing, but the studio will run for drum takes so...we might get to do what we want during lockdown.

Good bridges these Hosco units. Nicely finished, I’ve used a couple on self builds.

FFS... fancied a blue amp jewel (the “on” light) as EBS seems to use blue in a lot of their stuff. bought a blue jewel. arrived...put it on. The light on the reidmar it’s a yellow LED in there...makes the blue jewel shine yellow 😂😂😂

I use an apogee jam+ works brilliantly - wish I’d bought a 2 input version really...but, does for the basslines and demos I send.

It puts me off - I know some people really bond with their instruments. Mine rarely stick around long enough 😂😂😂
