  1. Sold Jon a Fender P - lovely bloke. Enjoy the YOB magic!
  2. I’m not one for chucking stuff on bonfires when it’s salvageable... But that’s a disgrace.
  3. This looks amazing. And the pink inlays shouldn’t work but really do. Insanely jealous of people who can just knock up a bass out of some planks...
  4. I saw it for sale recently - don’t know if this is the original seller or buyer. It’s gorgeous.
  5. Must stop looking at this - It’s tempting me.
  6. Haha. Took me ages - in my bedraggled state
  7. So it’s arrived. A little less “excellent condition” than the guy stated - but it’s cool. Have tweaked it so it plays great. Need to re-foam the p pickup as it’s right in the body. Will sort that another day. Currently battling an epic hangover from yesterday’s social distancing VE Day street party. My Neighbour loves gin. So once the beer rations were done...he started showing me the various flavours he has. god knows what time it all ended. All I do know is that we’re both rough.
  8. GAS has no cure. Impulsivity is admired and derided equally. People, on the whole are good.
  9. Think he’s that guy on eBay who bodges guitars for a living.
  10. I was maybe a little flippant on my earlier comment. They messed an order up once, I took it personally. I eventually got over it 😂
  11. The only one remotely passable was the SG. I started with a bit of empathy for the guy in the video. The more I’ve thought about it...I really feel he’s a busybody. Anyhow, rich tone had me as a customer once, if their customer service doesn’t put people off, I doubt a few shonky used guitars will.
  12. Difficult one - and seems like the boss will sort. I think I’ve interacted with the guy in this video on Facebook over a bass I had with a limelight neck on it. He went round and round, I blocked him and sold the bass. I completely get his point. I’m just not sure what he gets from policing the world of second hand sales on Facebook and eBay. Anyhow. A big retailer should know better - but if sorted I see it of a “hey did you spot this, it’s wrong” ‘no I didn’t and I’ll sort it’ Bit of a non story in the end.
  13. As far as I know these were chambered and the top glued on.
  14. Looks like the next door neighbours luck has run out...”package contents?” ‘Pete from number 13’
  15. These crop up only once in a blue moon - so Jumped on it as I’m doing lots of remote recordings for a singer/songwriter who asked if I had a DB... I recorded with my fretless J and it sounded great. But missing a bit of that thud. Was planning on a fretless neck for my 75p, and then before I knew it - offers to buy came in and one person in particular absolutely deserves it (YOB etc) As this was going on - just had a quick look online and found this. ”collection only” bah...In Bristol. “hang on @Cuzzie is in Bristol and we talk regularly” i thought ...asked the question...GO! It’s a 1991 ish Fender Japan PBAC-100fl. Catchy eh? About to be collected by DPD to arrive in the next few days.
  16. Pickguard...price 😂 Bridge on jb is old school. inlays are abalone and not pearl
  17. At Castlefield? And we didn’t meet for beers?! Our standards are slipping.
  18. Things have changed on the Travis settee...
  19. A beauty either way - look very slick. Also saw Jerry Barnes with Chic last summer - his model (I think based upon this) sounded epic. Very nice bass - good price too!
  20. That’s so cool - here’s a genuine query I’ve often been puzzled by. The “Atelier Z” logo on the pickguard, is it a sticker you can remove?
  21. yup 😉
