  1. What the bloody hell is this still doing here? These are lovely, I’ve played a few in my time - all great. There was a point about a year or so ago when everyone was after one...madness. If I wasn’t in “bought too many basses” jail...I’d have a go. Paul is a proper gent too - have dealt with him a couple of times now. All those sounds in just 8lbs ... see? That’s my logic.
  2. The DPD guy who picked up the flea had delivered the sadowsky the day before...he looked at like me as if to say “you prick” hahaha
  3. One of the few times I ever special ordered a bass for someone when I worked in a shop and didn’t get it. Just...don’t get them. And I was a Warwick player then too. Wonder where my corvette is 😂
  4. Picked a bass up from me on Tuesday afternoon, was in Czech Republic at 2pm today. Now...that was DPD doing everything so I’m not sure what Eurosender actually did there...the insurance was cheap enough.
  5. Forgot to add that the happening happened and yes I can confirm...it is stonking.
  6. 90’s silver series? Not a JV/SQ which were early 80’s. nice though. These seem to fetch £300-£500 in good nick. I sold my modified SQ for £580 a few years ago. JV’s seem to fetch £800-£1100 depending on age and condition etc.
  7. Wow...Mex will do surely? If not look for a shop called “Stratosphere” on eBay/reverb.com. Theyve basically made a business of parting out Fenders:
  8. Think they’re about £200-£275, think about an allparts licensed neck - they can be up to £400
  9. Think if you google it - a few fender dealers seem to sell them.
  10. just got this blue one too @Mike they’re great.
  11. Unintentionally took it in trade against a Fender Custom Jazz.
  12. Luke bought some strings from me - lovely stuff as always. 👍🏼
  13. Bought this 2 weeks ago - when my recording setup was scuppered by a software update. This has now been resolved, so I no longer require a looper as I can work on ideas with software. Cost me £77 ish from PMT. £60 plus £5 postage in UK. Many thanks Andy
  14. Right. Have figured out that the clicking is the WiFi router (about 3ft from my amp) will do in a different room next time. Edit - this was also straight into the sonic port as the WiFi was doing something to the amp. Realised that while doing this the wife was On a conference call over the internet and kids were watching Disney+ using the internet so no wonder it’s noisier... will do something better tomorrow
  15. Yeah @bassfan stop living vicariously though my Pinot infused YouTube videos...crisssakes 🥴
  16. Will get the kids showered and in pj’s then do a similar vid of the HPJ. realistically though. Bottle 2 is calling. might be better if I got iris to do it...
  17. Just realised on said recording of bass there are some clicks/pops - I hadn’t turned the phone onto aeroplane mode so it’s the WiFi/4g signal. sorry @bassfan
  18. Do a trade...it’s gorgeous that bass. If it was a 4 I wouldn’t have bought my HPJ.
  19. About that “bedroom tone” - this is direct out of an amp, into a sonic port. Sounded crap when I played it back (I did this for @bassfan to show the VTC) - I played it back through studio monitors and it sounds lovely. Looking forward to the studio time we had booked for this month, when it’s moved to whenever. excuse playing - I’m 2/3 through a bottle of wine...
  20. Looks rubbish that mate. Really awful. I think you need to send it here so I can fix it... some stickers, a bit of glitter...maybe carbon wrap the neck and hydro dip the Pickguard with some camo.
  21. Those are the two sires I’d buy too...and that precision is lovely
