I have ALWAYS wanted a Wal for my 40th (in 4 years).
Mrs Travis (who is fit and supportive) has said it absolutely can happen.
But I’ll most likely be buying used - otherwise the order will have to go in next year.
I would hope if you agree a build at £6000 that’s the final price you pay - even if the basses creep up to £7500 by the time yours is delivered. Or have I missed the point?
I haven’t said any of the above - I was trying to keep it jovial.
”Straw Tail response” to my mind somehow insinuated that I’d been engaging in a debate with you and you’d somehow exposed a weakness in my argument.
I haven’t engaged in a debate with you about basses - I simply stated that we’re all different players and would choose different instruments given a budget of £5000 or whatever.
Trying to mediate a storm in a teacup.
I also stated that it’s not worth arguing about - but let’s face it, you’ve come for a row of some sort.
Ok.
How’s that whole “direct guy” thing working out for you?
There’s nothing (as far as I can see) to defend.
I’ll unfollow the thread and leave you to it mate.
I don’t know what you’re getting at - you’re obviously an intelligent fellow.
I’m being facetious.
Your posts are coming across as intentionally argumentative - that doesn’t sit well with me.
People are trying to be helpful, constructive and adding their own opinion and you’re not getting it.
Anyhow. Enjoy your bass - whatever it may be 👍🏼
Who’s in charge here? It feels like talkbass.
“Am I wrong?”
“I don’t know, are you?”
”no, you are”
”am I?”
”yes - idiot”
”oh...ok...”
”who are you talking to, yourself?”
”yes you”
”am I?”
”I don’t know”
