    Tonight… sweaty. but. we’ve had a couple of weeks off as singer was in America, keys and guitar player went to Sweden… we’ve got 2 gigs this coming weekend. one is a Battle Of The Bands thing - we last minute decisioned it. and a festival. if we are 80% as good as we were tonight…we’ll be reet. Sounding really good, together - much better than our 9 months together would suggest.

    Mr Postman has just been with Musicman Strap Buttons too - it came to me with Schaller buttons on which are pretty useless without the lock parts.

    Just got this - but sat down and had a think, this will overpower the band. I’m realising that the Ripper just does what my band does. ive also just bought back my old Casady - with a view to getting a fretless version when they arrive so, this will just sit around looking ace. its a 1999 - no hard case, but Warwick bag. it came with 2 pickguards. The black one is better… it’s got some knocks…it’s well played. it plays better than any other musicman I’ve had though - I will say that. The blue pearl has a greenish hue now - more like an ocean turquoise…or teal. brand new 40-100 Ernie Ball “hyper Slinkies” i can ship - would rather have collected. Love it - but I’ve got to keep basses and costs down. so Offers around £1000 I’ve got in the bass. i can offer PayPal invoicing for splitting the cost. I’d have to factor in costs/fees for this.

    I’d love another classic - had a white one, superb instrument. swapped it for a Status Kingbass with the much missed MB1😎 - loved the Kingbass but always missed the classic.

    Pearl blue Sterling - actually faded off to a bit of a bottle green shade, but it looked a bit more blue last night

    Think this is my 12th musicman. My first Sterling. well worn, pearl blue 1999 faded to an almost ocean turquoise/bottle green. Sounds and plays well enough to explain and justify the “road worn” state - It’s cleaned up well - trying some new Hyper Slinkies (40-100) on it.
