Just heard from Howard - pickguard is 90% there, he’s playing a blinder and doing a final fit meet-up with Dave to make sure it’s right. brilliant people.

Yeah - they crop up cheap from time to time, but they seem to sell at realistic prices fairly often too.

Yeah - would save having to source the fender black stack knobs. They’re mildly elusive.

I’ve had the 800 through 210/115, and run the 500 through 2x210. There’s not a fat lot in it - they’re brilliant amps.

Looks like I’ve found the pickups to match my sadowsky pre... I was stuck between the Aguilar 70’s and the Nordstrand 70’s. Looks like @Normski saved them for such an occasion 😉

Yeah, they weren’t metallic under the burst - wasn’t the true paisley foil type finish. Was like a print underneath. Not great.

They’re great - the pre gets a bit angry if pushed, it’s a bit extreme at the top. I had one and found that I mostly used it set flat (so basically a 414). I’d say they’re worth every penny of up to £300 or so, they crop up at £180-£250 quite regularly.
