  1. I said this a while ago in a drunken chat with Lee at Ashdown.
  2. Yeah, just ordered the wall art for the new room so I’m well out.
  3. Just had a quick noodle - absolute relief as the count in 1/2/3/4 and recorded 16 bars along with a loop, not a blip. Marvellous. The GarageBand Opus shall begin toot sweet and no expense shall be spared in its production. Not really, I have two bass parts to record for a chap in Ireland. One fretless, one Fretted.
  4. It’s 2008 - they didn’t make these in 1998. Its lovely - needs a tort guard then would look like a newer version of my 70’s p.
  5. well...all sorted.
  6. I want it... just... trying to be mature
  7. Blue, 4, rosewood - like my old jazz
  8. Replied - just checked the account and computer says no. Sorry x
  9. Knew I was getting it wrong 🧐
  10. Actually...
  11. If Haimsey is 1st in queue, I’ll take 2nd place...
  12. I really enjoy the Spector NS body shape, but whenever I sit with them I end up hunched over them. I’m comfiest with a BB or precision shape - Jazz bass too - ergonomically they work for me. I say fair play to Ashdown for giving it a go - as I mentioned earlier, I think I’m going to start a thread on bass designs - see what turns up.
  13. The shape - not into the finish/woods on either really.
  14. Looks great - that paint job is brilliant too.
  15. @spectoremg - this linear setup suits the lines more.
  16. Yeah - really elegant. That control layout is a shame...but love the shape
  17. Over the course of 24 years playing - and working in the Guitar trade for 12 of those. And a dirty habit. I went through a foolish stage of having duplicates with flats and rounds. That was stupid - and before I had kids.
  18. I had an RBv - was around 9.5/10lbs. What a bass.
  19. Gone up a pound since I ordered...still, a nice item and handy
  20. The U.K. supplier on eBay is £12/£13 all in x
  21. I know mine went to a good home - it was a nice thing to own. The HPJ is a beauty though
  22. Rarely seen in that kind of nick - blummin eck.
