Got mine going spare - none of my current basses have the need and I’m not doing work on other people’s basses any more. going to list it for £10 shipped if anyone’s bothered. -
Just bought a Sadowsky Pre from Mark - really quick delivery. Also was a gent about hanging onto it until I’d been paid for something I was flogging. Thanks mate x

Think your best bet for cataloging models is to go by era. there are 1000’s of variations on a theme, also up until recently - and probably still... Yamaha make “Japan Only” editions. its a minefield

If it was a 4...think £500 is ambitious, the last few 4’s I’ve seen have been about £300 but I’m just sore I missed out on one here for bargain basement... -
