  1. Well. That was enjoyable. Different. He’s good...but not flashy, loads of feel. Only downside...guitar is a Pointy thing with skulls on it..😟
  2. Half time. He’s doing good
  3. So, we’ve had a week off. Today sees “Big Al” a 22 year old (we’re all mid-late 30’s). He’s arriving 30 minutes early.
  4. Just found it...no specifics on preamp. er. Id say get a 415 and choose your own pre.
  5. How much is that 415 on for?
  6. Modded 415wr. wouldnt bother personally. Depends what the preamp is.
  7. There was a black Nathan East version on Facebook for £1300 the other day. 🙄
  8. I’m having the bass. I’ve told him he can have a left handed 3/4 Harley Benton my lad doesn’t use.
  9. In all honesty...expect nothing near what it’s worth. C5p eventually got £130. I’d suggest about £150-£200.
  10. C5MJ
  11. It’s a concert bass, Jackson C5AMM rings a bell. I had the C5P - bloody brilliant bass.
  12. Haha. Hijack me the PRS and we’ll talk about Ibanez’ all day long.
  13. Yeah. SoundAffects... It can stay there, think I sold it at a small profit, but nowhere near that. Anyhow, it’s lovely - if I was more flush, I’d offer £1100 to get it back. I’d be lucky to offer £11 at the moment
  14. Singer messaged me about a bass he’d seen on eBay... £150, with a 30w Marshall and all learning materials. 2 miles down the road...
  15. If it’s over 10lbs, I just say no.
  16. I recall seeing Starsailor (2000’s Indie mid-leaguers) and thinking “ooh, the bass player has a sterling...” that’s all I can say.
  17. I’d love a sterling - I know @sshorepunk and @lee650 swear by theirs. Have never owned one though, have owned way too many stingrays and even a bongo...but never a sterling.
  18. I debated it. Recorded all the parts. never finished it. turns out a mountain walk or fun run can raise more money...
  19. P/J (414) fully open most of the time, with the bridge pickup closer to the strings. Rolling tone back for more chilled tunes. for the BS - will Find out tomorrow 😂
  20. Yeah, they’ve been on a Yamaha BB (top load bridge - not string through) so would fit pretty much anything Fender and obviously anything 2+2 or 3+1.
  21. How much was that if you don’t mind me asking @ped
  22. @HazBeen that was awful 😂
