Well. they’ve cocked up a collection from my address...and a collection from another address to come to me. So that’s 2 basses not going where they should be in 2 days. I know these things happen...but it then takes Eurosender so long to reply to anything that it adds another day or two to the whole thing. Stupid really. Both of these were booked in Friday last week so I’m a bit annoyed really.

Interesting that a lot of Taylors are showing up too - my favourite is the 410e or 810e. Used to sell lots of Taylors...never owned one. I should.

One of those sat in Deansgate Music for about 5 years before they shut down...

I used to have a 72 thin line and a 72 custom, they’re bloody lovely those teles.

And Ibanez SA160. Not my first choice...but It does ok for funkier sounds, and plays unbelievably well. I really want an Epiphone Lucille.

Yeah - got a mate who works for focusrite who was trying to get more information and a price for me. He works on the synth side of the company. He’s gone quiet and I’m eager to get going.

I actually inherited the line 6 from a mate as part of a trade. So I guess I could buy the lead, or maybe look at one of the following Apogee Jam+ £149 or Ik multimedia iRig HD2 £89 as they (particularly IK) have a few more features...

Update on this - It’s the Line 6 wire between the interface and phone, or the interface itself. even listening to Spotify through it (if I can’t find my iPhone headphones) it does the same thing. fuming - the cable is £69, and if I’m not 100% sure - I’m just going to buy a new interface for £30 or whatever and try that.

I have owned 3 of them. I “need” one every now and again. And then remember I want it to have an on/off switch and a PSU in. So I sell them. Probably due a revisit in 18 months or so 🙄😂

They look nice - the necks are meant to be lovely too. i think a P/J, non matching headstock, maple...white blocks/binding.

This angle...rather than a fluid line...just...I’m glad I want the P where they seem to have followed the traditional look.

I had a Nate Mendel which was Ash Bodied and it was 7.8lbs. - even lighter without the badass sold to @lee650 - nice bass that.

They used to make Mexican Standards out of Poplar before using Alder 3 and 4 piece bodies.
