  1. https://reverb.com/uk/item/16566237-boost-willis-clean-boost Boost Willis 😂
  2. Yeah be played that bass! Tis lovely. Think JS had it in a trade stand for a bit. A steal for a grand!
  3. Guitar shops selling new basses and guitars are going out of business every week. There was always the moan in the trade that the internet trade was killing the shops. Since I’ve stopped working in a guitar shop, I’ve not bought a factory fresh/shop fresh bass - that’s 6 years. And I’ve bought and sold about 20 basses. Market saturation? There are also folk who have ridiculous collections. I’d suggest @cetera has about 40% of all basses ever made.
  4. Happy Christmas one and all..5.30, and now watching a Metallica DVD
  5. Haha. No mate. I’m as inside as a nosey neighbour - just used to work closely with Lee at Ashdown. We’ve kept in touch.
  6. I know as much as you at this point - I get the feeling a Korean factory will be making these...
  7. Sort of like Status didn’t bother second time round...
  8. The trace version has more or less a fender front profile...but it all looks a bit Dali when the player turns either way. ETS ergonomic tuning system.
  9. I’ve often wondered about some users. It’s odd.
  10. They are - the photos I’ve put on were robbed from Facebook and then uploaded here so super compressed...the blue in particular looked great. Don’t know if this helps...
  11. Rose Morris/Avon did one. Assume there were about 3 factories in the 70’s doing them and various distributors put their brand on them.
  12. I sold a Roadie 2a for about £850 a few years ago. I suspect it’s a speculative price.
  13. Not sure. I’m trying to sort a shufty at them - doubt it’ll happen before Namm... Looking at cab options for my RM too so could just use it as an excuse to be nosey.
  14. Well, yeah. Just like fender “it’s the same 4 models every year, emperors new clothes...”. Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. Here’s the thing though, there are 2 familiar shapes but there are variations of short and extended scales. There’s something for the rock kids with the fenderbird, and the p/j is a bit of a quirky take on a familiar set up. So if they do a short scale Jazz type - they’re covering something fender did for a bit...and now don’t. I dunno, I’m looking forward to having a mess about with them - Hope the P is nice.
