  1. Head of year at a high school. Currently looking after year 9 (13/14 years old). Hard work, rewarding at times. Used to work in music retail, which was a hoot...but eventually it started to drain the life out of me. Originally intended to be a police officer, never saw it through. Another option was steeplejack - following in Dad and Grandads footsteps, but dad warned me off it at about 16/17.
  2. I have this little tour bus 10 if I need to play along with someone playing acoustic or just a bit more volume than unplugged... It’s a decent enough thing, and it’s tiny. Think they’re pretty cheap too.
  3. Just bought this - going to persuade Big Al that he needs to use this instead of the skulls guitar... Still a “rock” guitar...but deffo not skulls.
  4. Apologies Mart - have text them to you and posted here. Had a busy week.
  5. I’ve been playing bass for 23 years. Never have I thought “I need to adjust my strap” on any stage, ever.
  6. The cube 20 bass was good too
  7. There isn’t one mate, been here 36 years - still looking for it. Our rehearsal space is next to the M602
  8. I’m still going to suggest a strat or something
  9. Text my dad. ”Genesis, £70 - 400” he’s been a fan for years. ”f*ck off, no way - not a chance. You haven’t already bought the tickets have you? They can sod off!”
  10. I might change my name to Travers to based upon this thread too. Cheers Beardster.
  11. He can get gone if he starts with that nonsense.
  12. Might have to encourage a wrap or refin on that guitar though...
  13. Listened back to last night. Big Al is in.
  14. Steve bought some strings off me - great chap. Easy peas - like it should be.
  15. Will do some shortly mate x
  16. It’s a black rectangle for holding basses...
  17. Yeah, he started using it again a few years ago with Aguilar pickups and black hardware. Looked mean!
  18. This was mine. SB-40eq, slightly later model. Now resides in a Washburn collection in America.
  19. Hahahahaha. Get Dave Wilson to do a nice tobacco burst on it.
