Loved these - they were a bit out of my price range in the late 90’s…a Washburn XB100 was my “posh bass” (how little I knew). Anyhow. 10 years ago - had a black one. Sold it because it wasn’t a silver sparkly one. And after missing out on 2 over the last decade… In need of a new pickguard really…but it’s functional…for now

Shame as well with it being an earlier do. i always struggle because I’m either gigging or one of the little Travs has a thing on; better social lives than we’ve got.

Yeah - that was where a couple in their late 40’s sat right in front of the stage. The woman sang along to “Compromise” a song we did a music video for - I thought she was related to the singer. They listen to us daily apparently 🤯

Last night - Depressingly empty in a massive room. Easy and stress free. just deflating. Tonight - Claustrophobically busy in a corner of a pub. A calamitous gig full of all sorts of things I could moan about. ”best band we’ve seen at Chorley Live” ”that was so much better than all this covers crap” ”we’ve been playing your EP at home and came just to see you” So… weird weekend.

Playing 2 nights at Chorley Festival next weekend… Weekend after with a fellow basschatter. Would be great to see some BC folk at some of these

I’m currently looking for £500 none of that would bother me for £600 off. I’d take the price of a new pot as a refund…ex demo shouldn’t mean goosed - so that’s bad form… looks lovely

Also played at St Mary’s Chambers on Friday in Rossendale. Decent enough - rougher than I’d have liked as we’ve been away on holiday for 2 weeks and the guys haven’t rehearsed (fair enough 🤷🏻‍♂️) photos by our very own @Dankology

It was blummin great - Played Middleton Arena supporting The Chameleons. half seated (full) and half standing (filled up as we played) so probably 200-250 people watching (think 550 tickets sold). Tried some new tunes. Hired bass rig was a fender rumble 500 combo - very decent little amp - would’ve preferred my own rig, but it was a shared bill and a second kit was on stage floor in front of the riser for the chameleons drummer. Took the Casady and the ripper - but stuck with the ripper to cover all ground. Just “home” as far as my basses are concerned. some good feedback too…
