I had a lovely 90’s Korean NS-94. Every now and then I think “I MUST OWN A SPECTOR!”. And then I realise that the smaller body shapes don’t work for me. Which is a shame...as this is a beauty

Well. Original socket was kaput...just old. And as stated before - this bass has lived. new one fitted. All good. so, short of a paint job, which I’m still considering... I’m taking it out to play on Sunday.

That replacement machinehead deserves a lawsuit of its own. It’s too rough for £400 that. Needs to be £200/£250. I’d pay £4-500 for a very clean one.

Pulser series, also went through a stage of being the PB400 etc. I had a body from one and it was easily as nice as a Fender if not nicer. Wouldn’t mind a full instrument...

The neutrik has arrived. Now I’ve got to dig out the soldering iron.

Has anyone said “Flea played an NS-2 for a while...”?

Guitar shops selling new basses and guitars are going out of business every week. There was always the moan in the trade that the internet trade was killing the shops. Since I’ve stopped working in a guitar shop, I’ve not bought a factory fresh/shop fresh bass - that’s 6 years. And I’ve bought and sold about 20 basses. Market saturation? There are also folk who have ridiculous collections. I’d suggest @cetera has about 40% of all basses ever made.
