The white cover is, but the aerodyne p was a p/j.
red, amber, blue.
there are some Japan only models in Sunburst.
if it plays well and sounds good, £500-£550, but £650 is a push, if it were pristine and unmodified the. Maybe...
It’s not a 94.
Fender Japan handily reuse, mix up and have no real use for serial numbers.
I remember the press release sheet being sent to us and I worked in a shop 2003-2014.
Think the domestic Japanese market had them a year or so before the UK.
I’d like one of their J basses with that headstock shape...the only thing putting me off any G&L ever. Including and ASAT I fell in love with but couldn’t get over that tin opener thing.
We need to hear this now!
my first decent gig was Weller on the Heavy Soul tour at the Manchester Apollo, he ended up with Noel Gallagher on stage that night - at the time Oasis were huge and it made quite an impression on 12/13 year old me.
I totally get your point.
in saying that - I really like being able to adjust a bass to fit to me.
The running joke is that whenever people play my basses they buzz and rattle...’unplayable’.
if the neck is “set” the parameters for adjustment are also set.
The neck off truss rod adjustment is a poor design and apart from period accurate reissues - I don’t see the point, in fact I don’t think they exist outside of that genre.
And if you buy into the reissue thing you have to take it on the chin.
the shim thing - if done properly...can be very effective.
These are cute - after a couple of goes with 32” I must say it’s not for me.
but telecaster shaped basses (baron/asat) really work visually for me.
G is a top bloke, love the guy. Buy with confidence.
Seasons.(waiting on you) by Future Islands.
first time I ever heard it was when this performance was sent to me.
Absolutely love this band and their lead singer is just very charismatic; looks like he should be a geography teacher. But the passion in the performance, no arrogance - just performance.
