I owned a fender Marcus Miller in about 2000-2010, and I got used to the pickup cover being on.
Never use the bridge ones on a jazz though - too big.
Did have a very nice P with mutes in the cover. Looked brilliant.
The LPB’s are beauties.
would love one with an added j pickup, with a reversed p pickup...
after car issues and another bass purchase this week...that’s not going to happen.
I’d like to clarify that we bought and sold the Gibson’s as new old stock (even though they arrived factory sealed to us)
there used to be a lot of Gibson USA special run overstock (for Guitar Centre/Musicians Friend etc) which would eventually make its way over in small batches to Europe.
Should've bought one of the LP’s when I had discount 🙄🤦🏻♂️
We ordered a batch of Gibson Les Paul basses with 2008/9 serial numbers in December 2012 and they arrived in 2013, we sold them between 2013 and 2014.
all new.
And some of the early Fender Roadworn basses has serial numbers indicating 1-2 years before the release date of the range.
At least I didn’t say tired.com or something, that’s proper other level dad joke shite.
fake Ray...just scratching another itch captain.
seamlessly back on topic. These Jackson’s got close to an itch, but I won’t be scratching
The jp6/jm6 were lovely looking - I could live with that weird headstock, the other (the name eludes me) looks a bit projecty...
i do wonder if the jm/jp ever made production as I’ve honestly had my eyes open.
Watched a recording of our gig on Sunday.
the guitarists girlfriend filmed snippets of each song, and it’s obvious how crippling the stage fright I have is.
loosen up about 2 songs in, actually danced.
