  1. Olympia in a black and blue packet, normally about £14. They’re ok.
  2. https://www.facebook.com/groups/BassPlayersMarketUK/permalink/2636903222987956?sale_post_id=2636903222987956&sfns=mo
  3. There was a lovely Sunburst one up for sale last month. Think jaydee only made a handful. id message them - they’re helpful.
  4. Noticed the top horn section isn’t firm like it should be, so make it £30 collected or £40 posted
  5. It’s fake that. Not good.
  6. Just going to delete some pics and upload a photo of this. decent enough case - just not going to be used. want another fender dual bag like the one I have (urban series) which are about £40, so will swap. or £40 and £8 postage in UK.
  7. Good lord that’s pretty. Love your work x
  8. Honestly, if one comes up...I’d recommend it.
  9. Yeah 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
  10. Yeah 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
  11. Don’t think they lasted long - the company still exists and I suspect the originating factory makes the expensive Bacchus stuff (only other place I’ve seen that bridge).
  12. “Meanwhile, Godlyke Inc. in the US started to sell their Disciple, a clear copy of the SGC Nanyo Bass Collection made of hardwood and equipped with “SGC electronics”, for prices ranging upwards from $825. Quite a long way upwards, in fact.” easily the best put together bass I’ve ever owned...
  13. Nah - it’s crap. Probably sell it next week 😂😂😂 seriously - never owned something this well put together.
  14. Blummin eck.
  15. Pedal. Board. Just the one. thinking about a reverb pedal, and an Ashdown foot switch needs to happen as I’ve started using the sub octave on one song.
  16. “Godlyke Inc. is a music equipment distributer founded in 1998 by Kevin Bolembach and George Schwab. As well as selling other brands, Godlyke also distributes its own brand Godlyke Basses which are hand-made in Japan. They feature an ergonomically-designed body shape, dual SGC pickups with 18-volt active electronics and Gotoh hardware.” apparently
  17. Well. This has been on the watch/want list for a while. Eventually got a deal sorted. Arrived today and I’m stunned. I’ve owned Ken Smiths, Warwick’s, Jaydees, Status’ etc and I’ve never had a bass which feels so well made. Absolutely bonkers. Sounds like a hammer too. Very very pleasing.
  18. 4 which stay. And a fifth space which is seemingly occupied by whatever flavour of the month...(there are sometimes up to 7, I have been up to about 30 at one point but then kids, marriage etc) I used to have 4 wall hangers which kept me limited, now I have a lovely rack stand case thing which can hold up to 7...so we’ll see. this arrives tomorrow...
  19. Nirvana - Bleach been a long time since I listened to Nirvana, Krist Novoselic’s playing had so much bearing on me when I was a kid. Love what he does. Anyhow, Iris is dancing around, so it must be cool.
  20. Does Sound On Sound have a forum? Might be a good place to start looking?
  21. Think they were d’adDario chromes from the factory, nice basses.
  22. I know. I’m indignant it’s not to me! 😭
  23. I owned a fender Marcus Miller in about 2000-2010, and I got used to the pickup cover being on. Never use the bridge ones on a jazz though - too big. Did have a very nice P with mutes in the cover. Looked brilliant.
  24. The LPB’s are beauties. would love one with an added j pickup, with a reversed p pickup... after car issues and another bass purchase this week...that’s not going to happen.
