  1. So. Rehearsal. sound is superb... neck pickup and 24 frets though...😑 must persevere...must. my own fault for being a slapper.
  2. Slightly bigger body, certainly wider - and I think if I’m reading it right it’s more how it feels neck wise, and the 425 is a flatter wider profile
  3. Didn’t that used to be mine?! Hahaha
  4. Blast you @lee650
  5. Bought a Yamaha from me recently. Thoroughly decent chap. Enjoy!

Martin and I really do sell each other too much gear... Anyhow, another day another deal. Bought a case I had spare, Shame we weren’t sat in a pub. We could talk bass nonsense for England.
  7. Olympia in a black and blue packet, normally about £14. They’re ok.

  9. There was a lovely Sunburst one up for sale last month. Think jaydee only made a handful. id message them - they’re helpful.
  10. Noticed the top horn section isn’t firm like it should be, so make it £30 collected or £40 posted
  11. It’s fake that. Not good.
  12. Just going to delete some pics and upload a photo of this. decent enough case - just not going to be used. want another fender dual bag like the one I have (urban series) which are about £40, so will swap. or £40 and £8 postage in UK.
  13. Good lord that’s pretty. Love your work x
  14. Honestly, if one comes up...I’d recommend it.
  15. Yeah 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
  16. Yeah 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
  17. Don’t think they lasted long - the company still exists and I suspect the originating factory makes the expensive Bacchus stuff (only other place I’ve seen that bridge).
  18. “Meanwhile, Godlyke Inc. in the US started to sell their Disciple, a clear copy of the SGC Nanyo Bass Collection made of hardwood and equipped with “SGC electronics”, for prices ranging upwards from $825. Quite a long way upwards, in fact.” easily the best put together bass I’ve ever owned...
  19. Nah - it’s crap. Probably sell it next week 😂😂😂 seriously - never owned something this well put together.
  20. Blummin eck.
  21. Pedal. Board. Just the one. thinking about a reverb pedal, and an Ashdown foot switch needs to happen as I’ve started using the sub octave on one song.
  22. “Godlyke Inc. is a music equipment distributer founded in 1998 by Kevin Bolembach and George Schwab. As well as selling other brands, Godlyke also distributes its own brand Godlyke Basses which are hand-made in Japan. They feature an ergonomically-designed body shape, dual SGC pickups with 18-volt active electronics and Gotoh hardware.” apparently
  23. Well. This has been on the watch/want list for a while. Eventually got a deal sorted. Arrived today and I’m stunned. I’ve owned Ken Smiths, Warwick’s, Jaydees, Status’ etc and I’ve never had a bass which feels so well made. Absolutely bonkers. Sounds like a hammer too. Very very pleasing.
  24. 4 which stay. And a fifth space which is seemingly occupied by whatever flavour of the month...(there are sometimes up to 7, I have been up to about 30 at one point but then kids, marriage etc) I used to have 4 wall hangers which kept me limited, now I have a lovely rack stand case thing which can hold up to 7...so we’ll see. this arrives tomorrow...
